The "i" in DSi stands for incredible
PostedJuly 19, 2009
The DSi is the third iteration of the DS, and i think it is one of the best systems out there! first, the matte finish is really nice, and the SD card slot is one of my favorite features, cause you can store a ton of photos, and store them on the SD card, and say put them in a digital camera, send them to people, put it in a Wii, just about anything with an SD card slot, and the SD card slot can go up to 32GB! The other thing you can do is put music on to it and listen to your favorite songs they have to be in AAC format though, but some sites can convert for free, and the music is good quality, not as good as an iPod but good. The cameras are only 0.3 megapixel, but don't let that fool you they take good pictures, and there a alot of different lenses (11) that you can use to change the picture and make it look really funny and weird. One of my favorite features is that you can record your voice (18 10-second long recordings) and mess with it, but i don't do that i just use it for reminders and stuff. Possibly one of the best features is the DSi shop, where you can buy points, to download games and apps from it, they don't have too many good ones out (for me, at least) but they do have a free web browser that is actually pretty good, but not super fast and you can't watch videos from sites or from youtube. I really like that there is alot of accessories that you can buy for the system. A couple of internal features are, it is 12% thinner then the DS lite, it has 4x the memory, has 1 more brightness setting, has better speakers, oh and just saying, you can't use your same wall or car charger you might have for your DS/DS Lite with it. Overall, if you have a DS or DS Lite, in my opinion, (i'm not forcing you) you should buy it, the added feature are worth it (to me) thank you for reading my long review, and have a great day.

DSI
PostedJuly 18, 2009
I got my DSI on july 11th 2009. It is a really amazing device. I would tell anyone to buy this product. I would first like to say that the designs are pretty smooth and just right. The graphics have good quality, but i would have to say the browser isnt the best. Dont get me wrong, but nintendo could have made a better browser, if the DSI can play VIDEO games then why cant it play VIDEO? I would also like to say that overall the DSI would be perfect for someone looking for an upgrade on nintendo. The camera is really cool, you can take about 480 pictures, record your voice, and even listen to your music if you download it from your SD card. The screen is bigger which i can tell right away, and right at this moment i am writing this review on my DSI! So i hope to who ever wants a DSI it is worth the money, and you should get it!

Not That Great
PostedJuly 4, 2009
Well, I've had the DSi for a while now and i have to say that its not that great. I really like the sound of the product though. One thing that i really miss is the Game Boy Advance slot. I had Guitar Hero: On Tour and now i can't play it on my DSi. Also the worst thing is that AR (Action Replay) doesn't work on the Nintendo Dsi. One thing that is pretty cool is the DSi Shop. It just like the Wii Shop Channel but now its on a DSi. Most of the games are pretty cool, too. Also one improvement to the DSi is that the screens are slightly bigger and the speakers are bigger (in a way). To me the screens look a lot brighter, as well. The buttons on the Nintendo DSi are a lot better, too. One thing that annoys me is that the DSi doesn't have a glossy finish like the DS Lite. If u wanted to upgrade to the DSi, i say stick with the DS Lite. If u were to get your first DS, you should get the DSi.

Why do people like this?
PostedJuly 2, 2009
This is an interesting product to review. It will turn reviewers one way or another. I have decided that this is a bad product. Why would anyone buy this? It is just a regular DS that has a slightly larger screen, and stupid functions that you'll use once and then forget about. There is one cool feature that is a nice enhancement, that is the DSiShop. This product only has features that many of us have seen before, and proves yet again Nintendo's desire for the casual crowd. It is basically the only type of people that will buy this. Sadly, it is selling out, and we probably won't see a truly updated version of the DS for at least another 6, 7 years. Besides, if Nintendo just keeps on adding on stupid features to its game systems, than why would we need a new system altogether? We already have a system with a few pointless upgrades that have nothing to do with the overall gaming experience. In my mind, there is no reason to get this if you have a DS lite already. However, my opinion changes entirely if you don't have a DS and are getting one. If you are planning on getting a DS for the first time, you should get this one.By the way, I'm aware that my individual scores averaged together come out much higher than 5, but there was no section where i could list these complaints.
