this thing is the best. in fact i'm typing this review on my DSi. the DSi is very user-friendly. i think taking pictures and messing with them is the best feature on it. i suggest this item for all ages. the graphics are a little better than the lite's but still not the best. i also liked how when u bought the system it comes with 1000 free online (wireless required) DSi points. the first game u should download would be WarioWare Snapped! as for the extra 500 points, i'd save them for when new downloads come out. all in all the DSi is a great system i would definately recommend u buy it if u get the chance, even if u have to trade in your ds lite. its worth it. now as for the other features, i do not like the DSi sound feature. to put songs on it you need your songs to be in an AAC format or something. if you mainly wanted the DSi for the music you shouldn't get it unless you know how to do the AAC thing. if you are going to get one then happy hunting because they are hard to find. I got mine when my local Gamestop had a new shipment, so it was complete luck. I would get it online and use the 3-day free shipping before its gone. have fun with your new DSi!

ok. i bought the DSi prettymuch just for internet connectivity, but when i tried to connect it to my wireless modem it basicly said that the modem wasnt their, i had searched for the connection and found it, but when i selected it on the menu it disapeared... even thought i was 6 feet away from the modem. i thought it was the modem at first, so i went to a friends house to try it( note: they are two different types of modems) and it still didnt work. so i went to nintendo's website and it said that it worked with about only 70 different modems across 40 company's which isnt alot. and the modems that work had outrageous prices! and the graphics are the same as the DS lite. controls are the same too. overall i would not recommend this if you already have a ds or ds lite.

When i heard of this item i thought it was going to be another waste of money for me. i got this when it came out just for the hell of it. i actually like it better than the ds lite it has brighter screen, bigger screen, camera, sd card slot, and u can record sound. it has a lot of features that the wii has like the gamestore, internet, and much i love this system. i would highly recommend this system. I remember when i opened the item the menu was totally different and i immediately started updating the system. the thing i like more about the DSi is the internet feature cause i pay all my bills online. the only thing bad about this item is that the internet is too slow. it takes too long to load the pages but it kicks the crap out of the psp.

the dsi is great. but i think the ds lite looked better it has bigger screens better sound an others but by removing the gba slot it had made it impossible to play guitar hero games or some features of Pokemon games and other games that use the gba slot . so if you want some game that uses the gba slot don't buy it. and if you have a ds or ds lite don't give it in trade in if you want to use games like that . if you have a ds or ds lite flash card it will not work whit the dsi as i have read. you will have to buy one that say it compatible or an update to the one you have i don't know if you have a flash card you should know . some say that in the future maybe it will be plausible that it can be hack like the psp but still no one knows how.
