The greatest handheld system ever to come out
PostedApril 9, 2009
The DSi is truly one of the greatest things ever to come out from Nintendo. There are so many things this product can do. It can play music, take photos, and now connect to just about any router. I stayed up until midnight on April 5 to be one of the first to own a DSi. I was amazed at how user-friendly it was. The DSi sound is a great application. Also, for all the people who think that the fact that it only plays AAC is bad, well, if you own an iPod, then most of you're music is already in AAC format. The camera is relatively good (it's better then my cellphone's camera.) The graphics on most games are decent, but that's how the DS series always was. One of the only complaints I have about it is that the DSi Shop is very slow. Even though the downloads are actually pretty fast. Overall, I think the DSi is one of the greatest hand-helds to come out in a long time. I also think Sony is going to have a run for it's money unless they somehow manage to make the PSP ado even more, which is probably impossible.

I am truely impressed!

I just got my Nintendo DSi today, and let me say this: I almost cried when it came a day earlier than expected (with the 3 day shipping)! I immediately flipped through the quick-start guied and the user manuel, only to find that it is much more user friendly than I first expected (thats not saying to get too excited and just turn it on only to have it all go up in smoke). The fact it comes with 1000 free DSi points only made me even more excited, it's just too bad that there are certain wireless routers (not saying any names) that any members of the DS family can't connect to... Other than that minor problem, the only other thing that I can see that is wrong with the design is: how are you supposed to protect the outer camera? Over all, I give the new and improved member of the DS family a 99.5% rating (just because I can't do decimals for the above rating)!

Nintendo Lover 123
1000 out of 10
PostedApril 7, 2009
This is honestly the only system to rival the psp. This system is awesome and I love the fun with pictures music and everything. Hopefully the g ames coming out for dsi will take full advantage of all of the things that the dsi can do. A couple of the things that I wish could change were the gba slot. I wish that the gba slot was there because for those who used their dsi lite for gba games we couldn't play them anymore. I also with that you didn't have to get an sd card for data. But this system is amazing and any lover of gaming should get it. The web function also is very good if you have a source such as a wifi router. It is very fast, and overall pretty cool. I extermely reccomend this system it is no doubt in my mind the best handheld system that Nintendo ever released.

AWESOMELY AWESOME
PostedApril 7, 2009
I bought this and was a little sceptical at first, but it was definitely worth it! I am glad I didn't trade in my ds lite though, as you cannot do a lot of things on it, but the sacrifice is worth it. If you like the action replay, don't sell your ds lite, because they have not made one that will work with the dsi yet. Guitar hero: on tour will not work either. Other than that, the system is awesome...The web browser is really cool, the picture quality is good, and the ability to listen to music is awesome!!! I hope Nintendo will eventually come out with a way to make your picture your character in a game, such as they have done with the mii's on the wii. Another advantage is that with newer games, such as Zelda: Spirit Tracks (December 09), the game will be optimized for the dsi, making it much more fun. If you love your ds right now, I definitely recommend this system!!!
