Jefey there are other headsets that do what you are looking for. This is more of a tactical Mic to be used on game the same way as is used by special forces/Army. And for them couldn't be a good idea to use this type of mics and have both ears covered if you think about it.

I would buy this right now if it had 2 ear buds instead of 1 so i can silent out my girl i dont mined listening to my speakers but when kids r sleeping i want to use them instead of my speakers
