Bought this new in May, 2016. Used it constantly for four months playing battlefield 4. I put way more stress on the joy sticks then I do the D-Pad and the D-Pad literally snaps. The D-Pad can be pulled right out of the controller. Called Xbox support and they said it was out of warranty and would cost $30 dollars to fix it. I paid $60 for this and because of the poor quality, they want me to pay $30 to have it fixed. I am very disappointed in this. I have had used controllers last years with out any issue and this one breaks in 4 months.
I know it was probably a lemon and maybe doesn't happen very often but you would think Microsoft would have a little bit better warranty service on these. The controller still looks brand new except for the broken D-Pad. Usually don't review things but I wanted everyone to know my experience. Hopefully you have better luck then I did.

This controller is so Beautiful and elegant. Worth the price. I would buy it again in a different chrome if i could. also came with black thumb grips to match

The design of the controller is great. The color is awesome, the best looking chrome of the bunch. I have the red,gold, and the blue. The blue is my clear favorite. The transforming pad comes in handy for certain games and is nice to have. For some reason, this specific controller just works for me; the feeling is great and comfortable. With the gold chrome, I've had issues getting comfortable with the sticks. The blue chrome i received is really nice

I really like the look of this controller, I bought it a couple of months ago and really enjoyed using it. Although upon the constant use, i found that there was a major bug in this controller. After about 10 minuets of use; the controller would turn off. I thought it would be my batteries but they were fully charged. I think there was a flaw in the manufacturing because even if i put in new batteries, the controller would turn off randomly and continuously throughout me playing online. I would have returned the controller but I sent it into Scuf to have the paddles installed so now i am stuck with a controller that has a mind of its own. I do not know if other people have had this problem but it is very unfortunate to have happened to me.
All in all i like the look of it; but will not use it again since i cant rely on it staying on for over a minuet.
