This headset has already been released. While the V-MODA M-80 headphones are the $200 darling headphone in the head-Fi community right now, these share many of the same strengths but is a full-sized can with stronger bass emphasis. An improvement over the original Crossfade LP. V-MODA's CEO can be found personally posting in reply to comments, seems he is a little obsessed with the high end products. Overall, these beat Dr. Dre's efforts from overpriced Monster for musical clarity, tighter but strong bass, comfort, DURABILITY (watch a video of these getting dropped and thrown around on concrete and bent in extreme ways), warranty, and a more aggressive styling. You also can choose between two detachable, one sided cords. Bottom line, I want these so bad and am trying to scrape up the money for these or a full-sized version of the M-80s, and V-MODA surprisingly is one of the strongest entries at $200.
