This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This is a very good game (no wonder it's game of the year of 2012). Good graphics, and never gets boring. A lot of puzzles (which is good) very intense. By me playing it, not too much blood and gore. You need about 1.0 GB to download all downloaded content. Very reasonable price. If you are going to buy this game, good choice, I recommend it.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
I was surprised when I first heard about Arkham Asylum, and the unique counter mechanism in the game but to put in Arkham City over three martial arts Judo, Karate, etc. That and the story in both of the games is wonderful, Arkham city the best story wise. I just had someone childhood flash backs to when I was a wee seven years old telling my pop's I want to be like batman. Running around with a towel around my neck acting like the Dark knight fighting my mother's cat. I honestly have to say this game is wonderful and I think it deservers Game of The Year

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This is one of my all time favorite game. Have played the previous game (Batman: Arkham Asylum) and loved it. The first is probably my favorite game. Arkham City has blown me away. The big city in the heart of Gotham where enemies roam free in this city. Their only hope is Batman. Have just recently announcd Arkham Origins and I'm pumped.

ill start off by saying that this game is amazing and everyone should get a chance to play it. Its an open world game although the prison(the world you are playing in, but its not like arkham asylum and is in a prison the size of a city) is not the biggest there are still plenty of things to find and do. I picked up the GOTY edition and exchanged it for the normal edetion because it was the same price during a sale. If you just focus on the single story you wont even meet some characters that are in the game. This game can offer up to 12 hours on a playthrough with just the batman character. The GOTY edition offers 3 other players (Catwomen, Robin and Nightwing) and all characters have 1 or more differnt skins to choose from. Overall, this game is worth every cent and if your looking for a great game, get this.

I originally got the collectors edition for my birthday, I beat it, and when I heard about this I started annoying my dad a lot, and then when I saw it on sale for 20 bucks, I made him order it, I got it as an early Christmas present because I couldn't wait till Christmas because I'm a batman nerd. Never mind. As I said this game comes with all the DLC on a disc for very cheap, so If you're smart, you'll forget about buying DLC and you'll just get this.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This game is definitely the game of the year. Because I got the game recently, I did know the end. I can't imagine what it was like for the end to be a surprise. The combat system and gadgets and other stuff is all good, but is trumped by the story. I got Arkham Asylum, which was great at the time, but the whole thing got improved. The story is great, but if you suck out the story, the game is still great. All the mechanics are great, and I only have a few things to complain about. I recommend this game to anyone. PERIOD. I also love the DLC that GOTY comes with. Skins, HQR, and Catwoman are all things that make this game great. Really. How do you make this games better, GIVE US MORE OF IT! One last HUGE complaint, WHERE IS SEQUEL!

Everything is Perfect. At least the closest to perfect possible. Graphics: Really gritty and fitting. Music: Really sets the mood. Gameplay: Very enjoyable and fresh. The combat is brutal and satisfying, but stealth is my favorite part. It is fun and deep. You can use silent takedowns, glide kick, hang thugs from gargoyles, all really fun stuff. Story: Its good. Its not really as involving and unique as Arkham Asylum, but I like it. Overall, I think this game is fantastic.
