Halo 4 will be simply amazing but the LE is a complete rip-off. The map packs that come with this can be bought for $25 and come with special helmets that are not included with the LE. Also Forward unto dawn is free to watch on youtube. Another thing the LE advertises is 6 special customizations. This is a also complete waste . If you play any copy of Halo 4 before 11/20 you will be EMAILED a code for these 6 customizations. So all you really get by buying this are some decent pieces of paper and avatar items.
25$ for one map pack, the LE gets you all the ones that will come out dude and it comes with a lot of skins for your player.

Seems like a great game. Hope they keep the items like jetpack and run. But cant wait for it, woo!!!
The limited edition gives those that pay more early access to specializations. in game you will have to reach rank 50 before you can do this and i think that is unfair. map packs shouldnt be made before the game comes out. that means they had the map then deliberately took it out of the game for money. other than that it looks good

your comment about people with LE getting the specializtions pre 50 is not correct. the way it works is, everyone has to get 50 first, but those who do not own the LE will only have access to 2, while LE owners have access to all of them. The point being, everyone still has to get 50, and its been confirmed that none LE owners will get early access to all of the 8 specializations early if they play halo 4 on xbox live. Please don't post stuff like this without doing a little research. it isnt helping anyone.

this just means you have access to the maps packs when they release and dont have to pay for them

Dude no offense but every company does that with their games these days. Its the only way they could get away with charging $60 at launch anymore. They charge the "regular price" at launch and release a pre-made map a month or so after release without any extra effort and voila they've made the money they wanted in the first place. 343 industries (among others) is just giving us a chance to buy it now rather than later. So it does suck but in a way its just more convenient. I would love for games to be cheaper but its unfortunately inevitable that the prices go up and this is how they do it without actually charging more than $60 at launch. Unless you buy the limited edition of said title, in which case you just pay for all of it up front. I do agree that its b.s. if you pay more you don't have to put in as much effort as someone who doesn't pay as much.

Dude, just because you either A) didn't pre-order the CE or B) couldn't get your parents to buy it for you doesn't mean you have to whine about something that's completely awesome and something others are willing to pay for. Also, how can you even write a review if the game doesn't even come out for another couple weeks? people >.>

Correction on the specializations as you still have to hit 50. Others won't have access to the other 6 right away when they hit 50 as they have to wait for 343 to release it to them. Also I believe the extra maps aren't made its just that those who get the LE don't have to pay for them when they're released. Thats what I figure anyways after watching some vids about them talking about the game.

343 has done an awesome job diving deeper into the story with Halo 4, Halo fans should get this edition as well because I have never seen so much extra content come with a LE, and its all content that you would actually use, not something stupid like stickers. Don't pass this game up from all the previews and multiplayer videos Halo 4 looks to be the best ( not better than Halo 2 though) Also please dont compare to Reach or base your opinion on it.
