This game is perfect for: casual gamers
If you're like me and have a bunch of different systems and have a hard time figuring out which version of a game to get, you'd probably appreciate it if someone left a review that would help you decide. Well, thats what I'm doing. I made the mistake of buying the DS version of Transformers: Prime the game, I thought it would be better for me because I'm not home most of the time. I was wrong. I beat the whole game in two hours at the most and the plot line of the game was practically non-existant, I was constantly wondering why Optimus and Company were fighting and how they knew they needed to fight in that area (where ever that area was). The graffics are somewhat ok, that didn't bother me and the music was just fine. The actual fighting gameplay was alright, not the best but I've seen much worse. I rented the Wii version out of curiousity and I'm telling you the Wii version is sooo much better. The graffics are so much better and the actual gameplay is so much more enjoyable (mainly because of the small details such as when I'm beating up a Decepticon I can hear him grunt and I can see Megatron chuckling evilly in the background, small things like that) and, thank goodness, there is an actual plot line! The cut-scenes are enjoyable, they explain everything you need to know and it tells an excellant story. Overall, don't buy the DS version, get the Wii version.
