A fantastic expansion to the the venerated Civilization series, Gods & Kings adds a much needed change up on the mechanics of Civilization V by adding tee ability to create your own religion and bringing espionage back to the game. When the addition of new Civs like the Celts, Byzantium, the Huns, Sweden, and Austria, the game takes another spin though its life cycle. It adds more excitement to a beloved game.

Downloaded through stream, since I enjoyed Civ 5, but after installation will no longer let sea units fire on land based units and will not allow you to garrison units in cities, do not know why they put it out before checking for bugs, but now need to wait for update before playing.

Why stream
Posted 7/31/12
You need to have stream installed to play it, and stream is a competitor online sales app. Why would you not just buy from stream for same price rather than have to have this installed to download, then stream installed to play it. The whole concept of having to run a online sales tool in order to play a game is ridiculous, when you buy it in a store and play it local the whole time anyway. Personally will not buy this addon or any other game from a once great Sid Meyers game set because of the Stream requirements. Paying 65 dollars for game to be forced to run stream is absolutely ridiculous.

I feel the aspects this adds were much needed in CIV 5. It gives you espionage and religions which I feel were taking away from the game not to have.
