What is that noise I hear?

Aha! With it's 7.1 capabilities, I was hearing things in the game that I never heard with my Triton 750. The setup was rather simple; just plug in the USB drive, turn on the headset and go. I was amazed with the clarity of the sounds. Though, I didn't care so much for the bass vibrations from in game explosions. Overall, the only thing I didn't like is that you when you charge it, there's no light indicating the charge status. So, just remember to put on the charger before you go to bed. =)

AWESOME HEADSET

I bought this headset simply because i needed a good quality headset. Of all the headsets I've tried, this one really takes the cake. Looks hot too. Lets start w/ the pros: 1. Sound: Words can't describe how detailed and rich the sound is. The VSS (Virtual Surround Sound) really makes you feel like you're in the came, as generic as i may sound. For example, in Battlefield 3, whenever a tank exploded nearby, my heart jolted. Every gunshot, melee, explosion, etc. simply sounds BETTER. The BassImpact is great as well, but i'd suggest not to use it in gaming, especially shooters. It's wonderful with music, though (works great with dubstep or any rap with a good beat, like JAY Z's new album, MAGNA CARTA... HOLYGRAIL). Another great feature is how you can adjust the level of sound coming in between your friend's mic and the game sound itself. Quite the convenient tool there.
2. Versatility: You can use this headset in any way possible, in terms of battery purposes. You can use the headset in gaming while it's charging (i mean with the wire connected!). For music, you can listen with the added auxiliary cable and NOT USE THE BATTERY POWER. Great plus there. You can even connect it to your laptop/ desktop. Great sound from the usb adapter.
few cons: 1. Battery Life: According to the manual, the battery lasts 4 to 5 hours with all features on (BAssImpact, VSS, etc.), but again, the BassImpact is not necessary in terms of gaming. As for music only, it lasts 6 hours, but you can listen to music with it off (to use the BassImpact, it has to be on). I guess if you ave a long enough wire, you'll be fine
It's difficult to find any flaws with this headset. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY IT!!

AMAZING!!!! I was fortunate enough to have $80.00 credit on my GAMESTOP account so I settled for the medium priced PlayStation Pulse head set. I absolutely love them and cannot wait to see how and if they will work with the PlayStation 4. The BASSIMPACT feature is a bit much for gaming and rumbles a little but can be dialed back from min to max ranges, it can also be shut off (My choice). The MODE button can be set to 6 different preset settings however, users can replace these settings with others through the PSN network free of charge. I choose SHOOTER, MOVIE, GAME, MUSIC, TECHNO and HORROR and they all deliver noticeable differences. The design and color matched my first generation PlayStation well and when not in use I rest them on my vertically set PlayStation, perfect fit. MIC chat is awesome and a can be adjusted through a dial. The SURROUND sound button works great. You will know when its on because it has one (only one) high pitch beep when turned on and then a dull beep when turned off and the surround sound is noticeable. The head set is rechargeable but will only last a few hours 5-6. My ears had to get adjusted to the fit and hurt after 30 min for the first week or so. The USB like connector slides in perfectly through the control connectors and fits snug so as not slide off. HIGHLY<<<<<HIGHLY recommend you save up for these if you can afford them just yet.

I just got these bad boys and all i have to say is they are amazing. The bass impact is great. The sound is great for music(i listen to dubstep),movies, and games. So far i've used the headset for my ps3 and pc and they just work great. They are comfortable on my head. They look cool. I have only one downside and that is they didn't come with a charger but that's okay i knew that before i got them and just got one when i got the headset. Overall this is the best headset i have ever used XD.
