Dead Space 3
Dead Space 3 brings Isaac Clarke and merciless soldier John Carver on a journey across space to discover the source of the Necromorph outbreak. This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
The game is awesome! If you love the series, this is a must get. The story is great, but the stories between characters are dull with the exception of Carver while playing co-op. The co-op is very fun and provides a good change to the experience. The new setting is superb and looks amazing. The game has one of the highest replayability values I've ever experienced, especially with the help of the awesome and fun weapon crafting system (which I have probably spent hours just doing that). I don't think it's quite as good as the first, but much better than the second.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
A thorough enjoyment that has its jump scares and aggressive enemies on a backwater ice hole of a planet. Not a fan of the co-op (nor EA's attempt to force you to do co-op in order to get a 100% finish rating). The weapon customization choices MORE than fix any problems I had playing. A must have for any Dead Space fan.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
For a third time you are Isaac Clarke and you have to stop another necromorph outbreak, except this time you are on the Hoth-like planet of Tau Volantis. If you are expecting it to not be as scary, you are right. That is the problem for horror game sequels, they start to lose that horror factor. Clarke also does not have all of the hallucinations present in the first and second games. However, the combat is as fun as ever, and the new weapon upgrade system is amazing as you can craft ridiculous weapon combinations and trying to find parts, circuits, and other items is still fun. The addition of co-op does make it easier when playing with someone else, but having Carter around really does add another level to the story. If you are a fan of the series, you will feel right at home, but maybe slightly disappointed. If not, I would recommend playing the other games first. Still, it is as enjoyable as ever.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
Many people think this game isn't scary enough and it isn't anything like the past Dead Space games. Well, I'll tell you that they are wrong! This game was well worth the $60 I spent. The graphics are outstanding and sound is so good that I get scared sometimes! Of course, this game isn't as scary as the past Dead Space games, but it's still way better! I found the story very interesting, and the weapon-crafting was spectacular. You could make the best possible combinations. Possibly a Incendiary Rail Accelerator/ Cyrogenic Torch! And if you prefer guns from the original Dead Space, then they have pre-made blueprints to craft. Classic mode is an option too. For those who love a challenge, this game is definitely for them. There is Pure Survival, Hardcore Mode, and of course, Impossible difficulty. Co-op is always fun. With a friend, or with any random person. It doesn't really matter to me. The only problem I really see is that Replay Value isn't as high as I expected. If there had been a couple more modes and more fun achievements, I would be all set. Other than that, worth the money!

My friend got me into this game i started out with the first one was scared to dead but the seconded was even Scarier and had. Alot of fun playing it but this one this one was just amazing i love the co-op but it made the game less scarier but when u play it alone u wish u where on co op ohh and if u get through the ending credits u will hear something that will bring all the dead space fan very excited

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
Dead Space 3 is a very good game and a great addition to the series. The co-op aspect did as well as Resident evil 5's co-op system with the new feature. The overall game was fun and enjoyable to the end and is fun to see how the story develops and unravels. There is only one flaw that I can really see with this game and that there isn't much to do after you beat it the first time. After the first game, there is New Game+ which most gamers will know as playing the game again with the same items from the end of the first playthrough. It's fun to do and you can get +3 upgrade circuits but doesn't have any rewards in beating a NG+ unless its a higher difficulty than the first game. Next is Classic. Classic forces you to play like the older Dead Space games where co-op is disabled, you use preset gun sets that you have to buy fully with materials and your aiming is forced to classic aiming. You are rewarded with the Devil Horns foam finger from DS2. Third is Pure Survivalist which forces you to make all of your ammo and health and you cannot find any of them. You are rewarded with a massive stash of materials for NG+. Last is Hardcore where one death puts you back to the beginning of the game. This rewards you with a 1990's "retro" screen filter. All of these modes are cool but the rewards are lacking and don't give any sense of accomplishment. The only one worth getting is the foam finger from Classic mode. Even with tons of modes afterwards, It still is the same game with slightly different conditions. Final conclusion, very good game and definatly good to play co-op with a friend but after the first playthrough, the game lacks and will make you wish there was more that was different. It will give you almost 10 hours of gameplay for one playthrough making the first playthrough long and enjoyable.

you have to play the first and second to understand the story... but if your a huge fan of dead space like I am than im sure you thought that this was amazing. the co-op campaign was amazing and im still working on solo but.... I cant get sick of it cause it is addicting!! every fan of dead space that has every intention to beat this game..... wait for all the ending credits to end. there is an awesome ending.

Its not scary as 1 and 2 its more like a action game instead of horror . Dont like new armor pretty lame especial the elite one, dont like that you have to shoot people which are the unitologist cause some evil genius wants the markers powers its based on killing aliens not humans. They killed the story issac and jhon carver die in a lame ending which alli dosent even bother searching for them after they kill the last boss. the chapters are to repeatative cause u go up and down, back and forth and see the same thing over and over again the beginning was interesting till you get further in the game it gets boring. If u search online u can see many people complain bout this game and many places give it a 7 something or lower.

Not only did you end up spoiling some parts of the game you provided an inaccurate statement saying that John Carver and Isaac Clark are killed. That tells me you didn't sit through the Credits, because oh you hear Isaac Calling for ELLIE. Just because Carver and Clark get thrown into space after their fight doesn't mean that they were killed. I will admit at first I thought that until I heard the last part that they included AFTER all of the CREDITS. I honestly enjoyed the game play. Yes it got slightly repetative, but in which DS game was there not some or quite a bit of back tracking?

I love the new weapon crafting system it gives you an edge in the game. The graphics are outstanding. It isn't as scary as the first 2 but then again we have been seeing the same Necromorphs for the past 5 years there are new ones but you get the idea so I really don't think it would be scary for anyone who has played 1 and 2 but there were only a few scary moments but just a little. The game brings to discs and in the first disc you are entirely in space except for the very end then you put disc 2 which it completely takes place on Tau Volantis (ice planet). The story is genius who would have thought... well I'm not going to spoil it. Co-Op is very very good I love destroying Necromorphs with my friend he has my back and I have his well most of the time because he starts to hallucinate during some parts and I have to protect him from the Necromorphs we can share everything in Co-Op sure it's less scary but it's still very fun. I don't play Dead Space to get scared I play it for the story unlike so many other people. After you finish the game you unlock Hard Core Mode, Classic mode and +New Game and after you complete Hard Core Mode you unlock Retro Mode it has a lot of replay value thanks to the unlockable modes and Co-Op. In Co-Op the story changes a little. I recommend this to all the Dead Space fans especially the ones who are actually interested in the story. A brilliant game it is. P.s. the game takes place in the year 2514.
