Pros = top notch all round, great training tutorial, you can tag Cons = in game and online lag Worth = wait for the lag to be fixed then get yourself a brand new copy
When I say top notch all around. I mean stunning graphics and music/sound effects with deep gameplay. You can tag team in this just like how Tekken Tag Tournament 2 does. Fighting developers should follow DOA5's very detail tutorial. There are 24 playable characters and no you can't really customize them or make your own fighter like some other games. The story jumps around too much for you to really care, but who is here for the story? Anyways, my only grip about this game is the in game lag (when you have throwdowns on) and the online lag even if they are in the same area as you. Other than that you can get a solid amount of gameplay and replay value out of this title. This is for all types of gamers and it has a difficult setting so don't worry.
The artbook gives some written insight from the staff about the concepts and designs of the characters while offering beautiful pics to go along with it. That and the poster was probably the best part of the whole collection. The sound track was okay and one thing they forgot to mention is you get a extra code for a helpful kasumi guide.
It's a good game it just the story is to short but over all it a good game. I have been playing dead or alive ever since i was a kid.. But if you like fighting games you should get the this game it really awesome!~ And the characters are awesome and the graphics are awesome i cant wait until they make DOA6 i would defiantly reccomend this game :)

the game feels wonderful the controls are smooth, ad the new graphics are wonderful to look at. with dirt water and s sweat now showing the fights feel more real after someone wins, the new story mode is nice nd helpful in some ways, but it isnt as fullfilling as indivual endings for each character. I also miss the small objects in stages like rails or tables that you could bounce your opponent over and jump over them after with a sweet combo.
A whole new approach to the DOA style. New moves, new styles, new faces. The story mode is all combined and has more of a tutorial feel to it. No story in arcade mode or final boss like the others. This is a whole new approach that I feel left the game unfinished. No Leon or Ein costume :( maybe later in DLC... Moves are easy to pick up and play, and the graphics look great even in camera mode with the swimsuits unlocked ;P I loved DOA for the individual character story, so now that that's been removed I can only hope they bring it back in DOA6.
