Got it one night, the next day it broke when i went to show my friend. At least it makes a cool shooting blade. :(

Simple fix

There is a simple and easy fix for your problem. First, you take some super glue and put it in the hole at the bottom of the top half of the blade. Then, you put some glue on the part that is sticking out on the other half. You let it dry for about an hour and it should work again. I hope this helped you. If not sorry.

This product is amazing dont get me wrong but the whole thing is plastic. For this price I was at least expecting it to be some form of leather with a mix of metal. I know it is sold at gamestop so the blade cant be real but i thought at least the overlaying gauntlet would be some type of metal. The price mislead me into thinking this just because its cool the price should not be $39 if it was different materials i would understand but for just plastic it wasnt exactly a wast of money but it was close. Over all its a cool product but just an advisory IT IS PLASTIC.

Just so you know that plastic is used in airsoft guns, airsoft armor. it is tougher then reguler plastic

I was one of those that had to order two, one was just not enough. First and foremost, this is a bracer, not a "gauntlet". An example of a gauntlet was Ezio's cestus, the item he wore during hand-to-hand combat. Upon wearing this piece of replicated armor, I noticed a drastic decrease in wrist mobility (not a good sign if your in a fight against multiple opponents that want you dead.), or should I daresay, immobility of my wrist. You can still move your hand, from fingertips to right above your wrist, and elbow movement. Any attempt to move your wrist may trigger a painful reaction.

This thing is pretty good in a sense since it's role play. Just a few negatives. In the video, it showed the guy putting in the blade and it locking automatically. For mine, I had to manually hold the button down for the blade to lock. Now, I'm using this for Halloween, and it would be a real pain to have to manually hold the button down with one hand and push it in with another. It's good as a collector's item, but with actually using it, that's a bit of another story. I have to admit though, the spring loaded blade coming out is pretty cool.
