This guide accomplishes what I haven't seen in many fighting game guides and that is to actually provide profound input on the game. The guide has little "fluff" in terms of pretty pictures or useless unlocking guides; rather, it delves into the particular aspects of Tekken that a player can feed on for quite some time (This is probably because the guys who wrote the guide are freaking awesome at Tekken). It even includes frame data which can be the catalyst from an okay player to a great player if studied correctly. It's a lot like the knowledge one can gain from a forum, but without the angst of snobbish players and typos, or convoluted notations. My only concern is that, in this time of buffs and nerfs being a short download away, if the information will be accurate two months from now.

Seriously what's the point in buying a strategy guide for a fighting game. All the information i need to know will be obtained from the pamphlet inside the game. Good way to waste $25!

If you think frame data isn't important for Tekken, you will be getting smashed online. The book has value to high level players.

I can understand where your coming from Kingpool but must disagree. For advanced players having all char frame data handy in a book is worth the 25 alone everything else is a bonus. That said i agree its tech a waste if u got internet access you can easily find any info in the book. Still for die hard Tekken fans its a cool keepsake.
