My Vita has been given purpose.
PostedNovember 14, 2014
As someone who knows the trouble of finding a good game on the VIta, I've never had issues with having ports of older games, but found most of the selection still rather lacking.
After getting Persona 4 Golden, I haven’t been able to put my Vita down once. The combat is rather simple, and the activities as well (both are still rather fun), but the story is really what drives me.
Haven’t even beaten it yet (very close), and I’m looking forward to it’s New Game Plus. There’ way too many good things I can say about it, and still have plenty left to say. I always felt the Vita would be perfect for RPGs, and Golden shows why. Being able to play it on the go is great, and works well with the VIta controls (and being about to pause it anytime with the PS button helps during certain things), and large amount of choices keep things changing each in game day.
Granted the grinding can get annoying (enemies don’t really feel like they give enough exp for how much you need), and repetitive, it still maintains it’s role as an excellent challenge.
The music at times feels odd, but really sets the mood, and will quickly become something you look forward to hearing (for me it was the new opening song, and Velvet Room theme the most) every time you play.
The characters feel so fun to be around (I hate I’m trying to max my skills on the first play through, or I’d hang with them everyday I could), and very interesting to work with. I only wish I had more time during the in game days to do stuff.
Possible my new favorite series. Since playing I've already gotten interested in getting the sequel games Arena, Ultimax (fighting games), Dancing All Night (the one coming out for the Vita next year, which is a rhythm game) and even Persona 5 (not a sequel, but same world).
I highly recommend you try it out, but be prepared to lose free time.

Awesome Collector's Edition!
PostedDecember 21, 2012
At first when I saw e-mail I wasn't interested in this game or collector's edition because I never played this or heard of it. I saw some videos, wasn't till a month later, December 20th when I decided to order this Collector's Solid Gold Edition on Amazon for higher price. Now I'm waiting for the mail, & it'll be an after Christmas gift. I'm looking forward to this game, & I will definitely be using the Skin. Finally, an awesome skin with a built-in screen protector! Case I might use, but I have the official Sony case I absolutely love, & it fits more games. I like the idea of Faceplate & Stickers, though I think an Art Book or a CD disk of songs would be more useful. Any who's, I still think this will be a great game to play during my month long Winter Break from College :-) Can't wait! Also getting a White Vita for Christmas as well. Gonna be very Merry Christmas.. Happy Holidays to fellow readers & gamers.

A great remake of a great game!
PostedDecember 3, 2012
When they first announced that they were making this remake I was ecstatic and as the day for it to finally be released. I just had to get my hands on the Solid Gold Edition! All in all even if it was a few bucks more for it with shipping and handling that didn't matter as right now I have about 63-100 hours worth of playtime. But onto the review it has improved graphics, sounds, events (even new events not in the original version.) And not to spoil too much of the game all I can say is that Persona 4 Golden is a must buy for any RPG lover out there especially for gamers following the Atlus.
