Online pass didn’t work

The code for the online pass doesn’t work and that’s why I got the game. I played the campaign and I finished it I loved it it was fun a lot of things to do I liked that it was challenging in some parts. I really want to play online but I can’t I thought the code would work since I bought it and it came with it and it didn’t and I was dissatisfied.
