Ok first off i never got hugely involved in the Nintendo scene except for the 64 gamecube and i enjoy the 3ds i absolutely hated the nintedo wii it was boring and unresponsive for me at least maybe i just wasn't play it the right way plus there were limited good games for it but now the wii u came out and i was really unsure if i would like it or not well lets just say i took a chance without playing it and bought it and it was worth it i only have Nintendo land and zombiu and both of the games are fantastic i love the new controller for it actually i should say gamepad its fun and simple honestly i thought it was going to be bad because im more into the ps3 and xbox360 but now im more into the wii u makes interacting with my games much more fun and exciting best system to shell money out for just my opinion.
The wii u is a great system for all ages. It is a great improvement in graphics from other nintendo systems. If you are thinking about getting a wii u the extra 50$ for the deluxe addition gives you 4 times as much system storage and a great game that gets u used to the game pad which is also very cool.

Man these graphics hit me hard. I was not really much video gamer but a handheld gamer but ive played an xbox own a ps3 and I gotta say the wii u has surpassed them both. I lovee it to death and ninja gaiden, sing party, mario, nintendo land, and sonic look awesome on there its hard to put down once picked up. It comes with netflix hulu, and youtube already installed. I love that u can sign in on it like the ps3 and make friends, but of course on the wii u they took it a step further, u can pause mid game take a picture of where u are and ask around for help, and with the big community that they have ur answer will come quick or someone else asked and its already answered. with its built in camera i can talk to my brother who moved out and ask for help(since hes always on line) its just a totally awesome system they thought of everything, even things i wouldn't dream to thank of. Ur awesome nintendo and ign jus has a bunch of nintendo haters so no one listen to they're sorry ratings about games for the wii u they're lies.

Its by far the best console ever. I have always tried to be a gamer. I owend every system possible. From the ages 10-19 I loved playing video games. Once I hit my 20's I wasn't into gaming anymore. I can't count how many times I bought a system, stopped playing it a month into it and then sell it for dirt cheap. I just never had the time to have to sit up glued to a tv to play. I turned to the vita for a more relaxed gaming where I could lay in bed play and have a tv show on. That lasted a few months because of terrible online play and not enough games. Now i got the Wii U. Boy this is one im never gonna get bored of. It has everything! From the TV remote, Internet Explorer, Netflix, Hulu plus. Nitendo TVii turns the regular TV remote/TV guide on the gamepad to the baddest TV clicker on the planet. Now for the gaming pros to the system. I think overall the gameplay and graphics are much better then the other systems. The game pad makes life much easier. dont you hate to play a big open world game like batman and always pausing to look at a map or in the corner of the tv is a little tiny map with a dot indicating its you. Well the game pad lets u play non stop on the tv with a good size map right on the game pad. The game pad is touch screen, vibrates and you can blow into the microphone to make other stuff happen lol. Seriously. The best thing is, when ur playing on the TV and someone at home wants to watch there favorite show. not a problem. They can watch their show and you can keep playing on the gamepad in HD. You can still use all your original Wii games on the Wii U and the original wiimotes and nunchucks are still good. Nitendo also has the Wii U pro controller. Which looks and feels like a 360 controller. I feel like im 13 years old again when I play video games. The only thing I can say bad about the Wii U is it didn't put a Blu-Ray or at least a DVD in it. Ok it would have cost more with it in the Wii U. But a cheap DVD is only 25$ and a cheap Blu Ray is only 50$. People will still buy it. One more little thing thats not a problem to me but for others it is a problem. For now Nitendo doesn't have indivisual game pads for sale. though in the near future they will be selling gamepads only. The console does support at least 2 gamepads as of now. One last note, some people complain about battery life of the game pad. If u play 8 hours straight then it will die during play. But if your playing 8 hours staright then you need a job lol. But you can always plug the gamepad in and play it wired.
