BAD CONSOLE
PostedJune 27, 2013
No matter what "cool Games" come out for this system, it will NEVER EVER compete with either Next gen system. I had my Wii U for a few months, I really did try to like it, I bought a few classic NES games, but to be honest, I just don't see how this console is a Major step forward for gamers. sure the whole 2nd screen thing is cool at first, but after you realize how choppy some games are, and the lack of multi gesture on the screen stinks big time. what really drives the final nail into Nintendos coffin, is the most idiotic friends list, message list I've ever seen, sure it might be better than the Wii's friend code thing, but Sony and Xbox alike, dance circles around this cheesy interface. it is all separate, and btw, if someone "Calls' you, you don't find out until you exit a game. really nintendo? I really hoped this would be more than a wii 2.5 but it's not, and it is NO BETTER than a xbox 360, so therefore it can't be considered a next gen console. There is a reason Nintendo never went to E3, because the show belongs to TRUE NEXT GEN CONSOLES. I have always liked Nintendo, my first console was a NES, I didn't even buy a PS1, I waited until I was shopping with my Bro in 2000 at a wal mart to get a PS2. I've been hooked ever since. Sure I've tried most of the other consoles, (never owned a Xbox original) but most of the other consoles I have plopped $$$ to own them, even for a brief few months, like the wii u. I hope after reading my review, you consider 2 things, what is the better bang for my gaming buck? a slightly modified wii that happens to have a jerry rigged faux tablet? or a real next gen console that will instantly provide me with so many options my head will explode, (just kidding)

A MUST buy
PostedJune 26, 2013
Although the WiiU is lacking in stand-out titles at the time being, it still is an excellent console. Sure, games like Arkham City and Assassin's Creed 3 are on other consoles and PC, but the WiiU delivers a unique experience using the gamepad, and if these types of games aren't for you, Tekken Tag Team Tournament 2, Injustice, even Super Mario Bros. U are all great titles and can probably hold your eye on the console until bigger titles come out (such as Pikmin 3, Super Smash Bros., 3D World, DKR: Tropical Freeze, MK8, etc.). The motion controls have improved since the Wii days, and are also less present. The WiiU is backwards compatible with Wii games, so you can still enjoy Brawl or Super Mario Galaxy without actually needing your Wii to play them. The gamepad is exceptionally responsive, and the WiiU call feature is also great. Seriously, this console is a must buy.

Nintendo all the way!!
PostedJune 26, 2013
I love my Wii U. The graphics are amazing. They run smooth without lag, like ps3 and 360. I dont get kicked offline every 2 or 3 games on cod. Mario U, Blk Ops II are amazing. I cant wait for other hardcore Wii U Titles. Everyone is excited about the ps4 and Xbox One. With great porwer comes great responsibility. I went thru 7 xbox 360's and 2 ps3s
because of the lack of consistancy in quality products. For ps4 and One its gonna be even worst since their expectations are so high. Buy nintendo save a few bucks and heartache...

Solid Nintendo product like always!
PostedJune 25, 2013
Nintendo has always made and will always make solid well made hardware and software. You must own a Wii U to really experience it for yourself, pictures/videos do not do it justice. It may not have a ton of games at the moment, but they are coming in due time. This system was worth every penny I spent on it ! The Gamepad alone is worth the price of admission! It is so nice to be able to play offscreen when I want too or just simply browse the Web. The Web Browser is fast fantastic as well, better than even my PC.
