This game was the second game in the Total War franchise that I've played; the first being Rome: Total War. Medieval Total War 2 is a ton of fun; following after its preddaccessor Rome it allows the players to chose between 5 or 6 Medieval nations and attempt to conquer Europe, the Meditteranean, and parts of Africa and the Middle East. The game comes with one 'Grand Campaign', where you select a faction and gain power based on your choices; you can make war, peace, alliances, treaties, bribes, etc... Once you complete the 'Grand Campaign' you may also play as many more playable factions. Coming with this game are 4 expansion; each introducing more playable factions and a new map, all lots of fun. This game is full of strategy, guts, and glory. In my personal experience, there are a few CONS as well: such as religion, it is frusterating being a Catholic nation to expand as the Pope continuously gets angry at you. Apart from that there is no hotseat campaign; however, this can be fixed with mods. There are countless MODS for this game which allows replay time to become near infinte. For those of you who are fans of Game of Thrones, there is a Westeros mode which allows you to select on of the great houses (All of the Great Houses are avalible), as well as conquer an accurate map of Westeros. This game is a ton of fun and I'd reccomend it to anyone looking for a good strategy.
