This game deserves more! Do not pass this one up!

I still own my original Wii and the exclusive that this game was. Even on the Wii despite it's limitations, this game made you completely forget that you were playing in 480p at best as you took in the hand drawn visual splendor. I preordered this game long ago and still have my poster along with the game and my original classic Wii system (in black). Everyone who seen me playing this thought is was a downloaded game for the other consoles as the graphics and character animation was that good. The all Japanese spoken dialog along with the art style really pulled me in. If there's any game that deserves a second chance, this is that single game which long ago was exclusive to the Wii. If you have a PlayStation Vita, look no further for a wonderful game with fantastic art and also a ton of action. The OLED display on the Vita should really present Muramasa very well and the option for English lets you take in the game much further enjoying every bit of visual detail while still remaining true to it's original design.

Seriously Fun Game

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
I bought this game on launch day and loved it right from the get go. I remember seeing the trailer for it and immdediately knew it was a game that I needed in my Vita collection. I've never played it on the Wii so I can't really compare, but on the Vita it looks beautiful. The two different story lines are entertaining, but the Momohime one is the better of the two. The visual look of the game draws you in and really gives a feel that you are in feudal Japan. All of the monster creations are unique, especially the final bosses. Another element that helps the game is the plethora of swords that can be created (I think over 100), and each one has its own special fighting ability. I would've given it a 10, but the lasting appeal is slightly lacking. The fighting system after a while becomes repetitive. I've owned this game off and on since I initially bought it in 2013, and each time I've picked it back up it's always been a joy to experience the art, story, and sword collecting again.
Sadly my Wii broke before I could play this game and now I am so thankful I'm buying the VITA. this is definitely gonna be on of the games I buy on day one when it comes out!

Muramasa is, by far, the best side scrolling game I've ever played. I had it for the Wii and it absolutely took my breath away. The art style is amazing and the gameplay is superb. This game is so good i traded the game and my Wii in and them bought another Wii and the game just to play it again. And from what I've been reading there's suppose to be extra content. I honestly don't know how this game could get any better. I almost bought the Japanese version for $80 but I'm somehow, with sheer will power, waiting for the english version. Get this game I promise you will not be disappointed.

Muramasa is, by far, the best side scrolling action RPG I've ever played. I had it for the Wii and it absolutely took my breath away. The art style is amazing and the gameplay is superb. If you've played Odin's Sphere you could relate. The game is so good i traded the game and my Wii in and then bought another Wii and the game just to play it again. And from what I've been reading there's suppose to have extra content. I honestly don't know how this game could get any better. I almost bought the Japanese version for $80 but I'm somehow, with sheer will power, waiting for the english version. The game is worth that much to me. Get this game! I promise you will not be disappointed.
