I am so excited to have this console and play it for years to come. Only thing is I play so much that I'm already on my second PS4 because the first one started making venting noise a lot. I sold it for almost 300 dollars to gamestop though. Also my original controller's rubber wore out to almost nothing in just a few months. Other then that it plays so smooth and downloads multiple games fast. Recomend it to all!

It's only 8GB for the same price as a 500GB that I bought for my grand daughter.She also agrees that this PS4 8GB should be discontinued.

Why would you even post on rating's board something that trivial? In actual reality that GDDR 8GB is pretty awesome to have in a console that primary use is to play Hd games. Sad

the 8gb is the RAM, there is no ps4 with an 8gb hard drive lol

best console. Buy this over the Xbox One its better graphics and the controller is the best. This is the best console ever made.

The PS4 itself is great, its compact, quiet, quick, powerful, but the biggest flaw with this and the Xbox One are the games. The games are either decent or down right broken. I found myself playing the games to simply play them, not because they were fun.
