I absolutely love my brand new Ps4! The controller is perfect, the system looks beautiful, has beautiful graphics and easy an easy to access homescreen. I am not a Sony fanboy. My brother and i have owned almost every console since the Nintendo 64. I have had an Xbox, Xbox 360, Ps1,Ps2,Ps3,and now a Ps4 and Xbox One. I highly prefer this over the xbox one though. While my brother plays Battlefield on 720p im playing it on a higher resolution! The system only needs a few more problems resolved and then will be the winner of the console wars! one problem is the home screen, the screen is all cluttered and apps are constantly moving, also with the tv and videos section there are so many aps that cant be cleared! i was raised in the home of a Neatfreak so that angers me and i cant do anything about it. Another problem is customization. I do not want to constantly be looking at blue on my homescreen and would like to change the color! other than those few problems i love this system!
This is the first Sony console I've purchased under 3 months after the release date. I've had it for over a week now, and there's been a few times where it's taken me a little while to get into the PS Store. No freezing or any other problems. The new controller is awesome. Grips better, feels better, & handles better. And the graphics are a MAJOR improvement. I'm sure many people would say there isn't much of a difference, but that's not true. Not to mention, there aren't many games out that are for only for the PS4. There are several games under development right now that will show the true power of this amazing system. Can't wait to see what this thing can really do!
I have hope for the PS4 but after buying it I realized to quickly that as of right now there are no must haves on it. Come on Sony you blew the launch were the heck is God of War or LBP for launch. Xbox one has only 2 titles that were worth getting so it is better at this point but not a whole lot all though having the best racer out there Forza 5 helps. What do you get on PS4 Knack WTF. I had no intention of buying a Wii U until I seen Super Mario World 3d and realized that even though the wii has had a rough start it still has games that look next Gen and are must haves it is also backwards compatible so sorry my money will be going to a Wii U cause these Sony and Microsoft's launches have left me wanting and the Wii U looks a whole lot better. Sony made the mistake of allowing their must haves to be released on PS3. I am not a fan boy I own 360, ps3 and wii. With wii u I won't have to wait for the must have titles they are already here. When Sony and MS wake up and start releasing must haves other than Forza 5 then I will buy. Also MS Xbox one did one thing right bundling the kinect now every programmer can use it in every game. Sony should have bundled the eye with the ps4 or it will be the 3 failed iteration of eye peripheral.
