Sony has answered that call when it comes to next generation gaming. the PS4 is a beast to be reckoned with. pure 1080p 60fps gaming, customized hard drive with the ability to upgrade to a TB if you want to do so. the games that are played on the PS4 are second to none. the ease of use with the XMB to the ability to stream on twitch or just view other gamers playing the same game or you can watch them for tips and tricks or if your wanting to test drive a game all you have to do is make sure you are a current PSN member and your friend can play the game together for one hr. and you can do this over and over again. if i had to find fault with this console it would be this: you cannot play CD's on it. you cannot play any mp3's not possible. they want you to buy their music program or transfer all audio files to a jump drive and install that way. that is the only flaw i can find with this console. the future of Next Generation is already here and it will reign supreme for years to come.

This console is great! It has smooth gameplay with lots of unexpected perks! If you are a serious gamer, like me, who doesn't have time for glitches, then this is for you. Although, if you're looking for a deal, do some math. If you have a tight budget, still just pay the extra 10 dollars for a brand new one. $400. Go ahead and get a couple of cool games. Most have just dropped for the PS4 though. GTA 5, COD: Advanced Warfare, And Watch_Dogs. Ok, 60+60+25 (Watch_Dogs is used) $145. Do you want a headset? Yes. A $20 is still very good. 400+145+20=$565. Still better than a slow, glitchy, pain in the butt XBOX 1 which the console 1 controller, and 1 headset alone is $500.

I've had my PS4 for six months now, played most of the major titles on the platform, and utilized most of its features. My initial impressions of the unit were that it was quiet, small, and didn't get hot even in the heat of summer. The dualshock 4 is brilliant: the touchpad/button works great if a little too sensitive, the new shape of the trigger buttons (r2, l2) and the analog sticks is perfect, and the built in mic/headphone jack is great. The built in speaker sounds great and adds depth to the sound effects of some games. I.e., Shadow of Mordor. The only thing wrong with the remote is the battery discharges very quickly; about 6 hours of constant use before charging. This is due to the large light on the back that you CAN'T shut off.That aside, I am very sasatisfied with the general shape, function, and design. The system features voice activation/operation...which for once on a sony product actually works. The new stratified xmb organizes the PS4 home screen simply and elegantly. It also integrates PSN social features and the store into the title dashboard of the games and apps you have. The share play feature, which allows you to play your friend's games over the internet and vice versa, is awesome as long as you have a good internet connection. All of the share features (the share button, high resolution screen shots, gameplay recording system that automatically records 15 minutes of footage, ShareFactory app that edits videos, images, and themes) work seamlessly as you game. The graphics are gorgeous in 1080p...note that the PS4 only outputs in 4k for movies and images, NOT games. The system allows you to do most other functions while gaming ( browse the Internet, watch movies, listen to music, browse the PSN store, look at profiles, live chat, ect.). The two flaws I had with the system, not having themes and not being able to play your own music, were both fixed in the 2.00 update. I do not have a playstation camera, so I cannot speak to its functionality. In summary, I would highly suggest this system for console gamers. $400 is well worth what you get, which is a refined piece of technological brilliance. I will suggest though, that this system can never live up to the diverse full function of a gaming computer...but with those costing $1200 a pop, I will stick with my PS4.

The ps4 system is a great system and something the game be crashing (blue screen). The worst problem is the controller, R2 button broken if you are a hardcore gamer and L3 button damage easily when you play COD AW (constantly clicking the L3 button).
