Me and my wife bought a 55-inch LG 4K TV and a PlayStation 4. I'm kinda sad that PS4 games are not in 4K, yet, but I am really happy that we just purchased the PS4. I've had the PS3 for six years and it still works great, but I want something newer and better, and the graphics are insane. It plays games in 1080 P. I believe it's 1080 I for PS3. The reason why I purchased the PS4 is because it seems like Sony are not making a lot of games for PS3 anymore and I am a gamer and that's why I spent a lot of money for the PS4. You will be happy on getting the PlayStation 4, trust me!

The Ps4 is not an improvement to the PS3 except in graphics. You can't even play a CD it's not DLNA compliant and after being treated with kid gloves it won't power on and now a get a blinking blue light 1 month after warranty, and have to pay $160 to have it fixed. Sony knows of this problem and didn't do the rite thing by its loyal customers. As a consumer I will excercise my rite not to buy another Sony product again. I would highly recommend buying insurance for your PS4. Buyer be aware .

Overall, having both a PS4 and a XBOX One I definitely prefer this over XBOX. Regardless of the majority of my friends playing XBOX (and admittedly, I do play with them sometimes), but performance wise, PS4 is the way to go. PS+ is 10$ cheaper than XBOX live for one year, which even though a small difference, is one reason PS4 is better. There are small things when it comes to performance and quality that the PS4 is better than the XBOX. Sometimes, the home screen and game loading screen lags a little, but it is bearable considering the important part, gameplay is superb.
