My honest opinion about the Xbox One is that there on a good path right now and hopefully in the future it will get better and better.....the only thing that concerns me is the price and the Kinect....if they can bring the price down where the PS4 is at...than you got a deal...but some people don't mind paying alot..I don't really mind paying for Xbox Live....cause on the PS4 you have to have Playstation Plus..which also aint a big deal....really isnt...now the Kinect..well...one thing i'm not sure about is the NSA really gonna watch all the time..but don't judge me I don't know for sure....one thing i saw that creep me out was the night vision when you turn your light....find that really creepy..lol...but what i really want to say is that....to me this whole console war thing ain't about who's better than who,which fanboy should I be or this do that and that do this....its about what is best for you....so don't listen to those people who got a problem when yall don't see eye to eye or judge you when you don't agree with them....all that to me is stupid and a waist of time.....Just Go What's Best For You.....^_^

Though a lot of negative comments are buzzing around the system, a lot of it stems from the previous statement by Microsoft about the system's DRM. The real issue was not of how people felt they were renting games or checking into the internet, but how they would not be able to loan games to their friends. This is no longer a fact, and the console will be DRM and region free. Though I did not care from the start, being one of the people who pre ordered the day it was announced, it pleases me to see them step down from the stance and return to the past system of DRM management. It has taken it from merely "Good" to be "Great" I will, however, miss some of the features that were previously planned, and find that the system does not have much to separate it from the competition as far as uniqueness goes. The games do look fantastic, and I do look forward to some of the features.
This system was great when I got it. I had a little, skepticism after a few weeks because of some of the UI layout, but... but let me tell you since 1/1/14 they've been strategic in the UI experience and I do mean strategic. It feels like now what it should have been day one, but they've, "the MS team" have put a little extra in. I'll say this it now feels and look more like a futuristic Xbox 360 with smooth speeds. From the updates enabling, Friends content to the dash, to the Keyboard use and the side snap messaging having a mobile phone UI. I love the boot to TV feat. I thought they could do no wrong keeping the 360 controller and just removing the hump batt pack, but, no MS team had to go out of there way and make 40 enhancement improvements to a controller that was darn near perfect minus the battery hump, oh but now, now I want to make this controller my +1, lol, ok maybe not that far, but its awesome now. The external HD seemed to be head scratching at first, but being able to carry the mobile drives and games to a friends now, instead of having to download a game to there console to play, make for a better logic. The gaming experience is far superior, coming from the 360 platform to the Xbox One, and I believe all who owns one is hoping and waiting on DirectX-12 and more cloud intuitive computing to step this system into a step of the PC gaming world of experience and graphical enhansement, which is already graphically stunning. The gaming suspend mode is crazy, especially how when you cut the console off and come back later and can pick up right where you left off last played hours ago, just simple beauty.

The Xbox One is worth the extra $100. Comes with Kinect, Cloud computing to make it more powerful than any other console. A great line-up of exclusives and Xbox Live which is the superior multiplayer system.

Cloud gaming is a joke. Sony has already stated that the PS4 can do the exact same thing the XBOne can do as far as that's concerned, which isn't much if you actually know anything about the technology.

The xbox only threw in the kinect to the bundle because kinect is now MANDATORY!!! It is unfair to the xbox community that microsoft is charging $100 more for kinect if isome xbox players could care less about it. Microsoft depends alot on cloud computing, and if the cloud were ever to fail at any moment, entire information stored in the cloud could be in jeopardy. There really isn't a line-up of exclusives for this console, and the ones that are, are kinect required. The most anticipated game xbox game at e3 was Ryse: son of rome, and sony had already announced that ryse would also be coming to ps4. xbox live will be the same as it always has, only giving the player ability to play online, whereas playstation plus for sony users have the ability to play online, as well as receiving free content which could vary from entire game titles, to minor player avatars. Still, its all for free. And Ps plus is $10 less for the annual subscription than xbox live.Xbox one is overprices and under-qualified. I have to say that sony have outdone themselves in this console war, and I will be buying the ps4 at launch.

Okay we all know that we love xbox 360 for years now right. so when i first saw the console for the xbox one i got to admit it looks nice . but when they show how it functions well i have no intrest for the xbox one. ok for example, The Xbox One requires gamers to maintain a constant internet connection. If your Xbox One is disconnected for longer than 24 hours, your games will cease to function. You'll still be able to watch TV, use Blu-rays and surf the web, but your games will be off limit. ok this one is stupid because we gamers love to play for a long time you know. so yes i recommend you to get the PS4 becase its cheaper, you can play for a long time and online is for free. and oh yeah PS4 FOREVER

Policy changes have occurred and you no longer need to be online all the time. Get your facts straight. In the end this will be a better console.
