Looking forward to the power
PostedJune 10, 2013
While I'm looking forward to the massive leap in processor and memory power, along with the improved controller with feedback triggers, I'll wait until there are a few games that I can't live without before moving to the new console. Hopefully we'll have another 8 great years of gaming we all enjoyed with the xbox 360.

Its whats important to you.

Every time I jump online to look at which system was going to be best for me I had to weed through all the garbage comments on both sides of the wall. X1 this and PS4 that, blah blah blah. It all depends on what you want. People are slamming the X1 because it is $100 more, used game policies, headset input, always on connection but the things to remember is it comes with the Kinect. This is important as we all know Sony is going to try and build a peripheral that is along the same lines so we will just get it up front. Also the other thing to understand is you have an old 360 system just sitting there in your home, trade that sucker in. I understand you have games and money invested in it, but in as little as a year that system will be done. We all know this, so why not give it up and get some good money for it, not going to say how much I just got for all my stuff but lets just say X1 is far cheaper than the PS4 now haha. Next the always on connection, and used game policies are gone. Free to play your games your way and get rid of them when you want. They are building a headset jack to accommodate for old headsets.
I also looked at the PS4 as well to see if it was a better choice. Lots of praise as they did a lot of things right, right off the bat. But in the end the PS4 was not the system for me. No Kinect like device, which I have a family so its nice to have. Going to have to pay to play as I do now with my 360. This was probably my major sway point as if it stayed free to play multiplayer I would have went PS4. You can still play single player games offline, but if you want to play COD multiplayer, you need to have a PS+ account, and lets be honest, PSN is nowhere near the capabilities of Live. The PS4 seems to have a much longer controller and a bigger controller is not the way to go, not really sure how the touch pad is going to work on it, but it looks cool and could be really innovative. Like the way the system looks. Very sharp and futuristic. Better than a big black box haha. But it offered nothing more than the X1 in my personal opinion.
In all I guess what I am saying is look at your needs and not the needs everyone is saying is the best system. Just showing some points for both systems, and you can take or trash them as you like. In my needs the X1 meets them, the PS4 was extremely close and until today I was not sure which was going to be my next game console. Pick your console based on yourself and you can not go wrong. Choose it just because the X1 rating is a 7.3 and the PS4 is an 8.9 and you may choose incorrectly. Good luck and if you choose the X1 ill see you on Live. Have fun in the new game generation, we will all enjoy it.

This Product Seems Worth It
PostedJune 10, 2013
To me this product seems like everybody should get hyped up for it. My dad just bought me that Halo 4 Xbox last Christmas (last new copy in the country) and I LOVE it but I really want that Halo 5 and the only way for me to get it would be by getting an Xbox One. Although, Microsoft thinks if the Xbox One has the ability to play Xbox 360 games it'll drag it down I don't think it's worth throwing their biggest product ever under the bus. I'm hoping that Microsoft will come to their senses, and ours, and make two copies of Halo 5, one for 360 and one for Xbox One.
