i have had my day one xbox one since day one at 12:32am ! never been truned off never had any issues at all! runs smooth and is fast and i love all the nes games!

Since purchasing the XBOX One on launch day, my friends and I have had nothing but an endless stream of glitches and problems. I have owned XBOX's for the previous two generations of consoles and loved both of them, so when they announced that both the PS4 and XBOX One would be released, it seemed like Xbox was the easy choice. I was so very wrong. While the gameplay itself is okay, almost all of the games I have played are plagued with glitches. Just getting online to play with my friends becomes a huge ordeal, because the system will either refuse to let us use the chat app together, will insist that you are offline even when you clearly are not, randomly signs you out of your profile and refuses to allow you to sign back in, and a laundry list of problems it would take far too long to detail here. This almost always forces one or all of us to do hard resets of our system, and it often takes as much as a half hour just to do something as simple as get in a lobby together on Call of Duty, and often times ending with us deciding not to play after endless frustration just trying to get a game going. To top it all off, my console has forced me to re-download dozens of game patches, a huge waste of the valuable data on my limited internet plan that I already pay far too much for. After purchasing a PS4, I have come to realize that the gameplay and graphics are far superior, while eliminating all the annoying (insert censored word here) that I have had to deal with on XBOX One. The more I play the One, the more I realize that this generation of consoles will be the death of xbox. I have tried to stick with it, hoping almost purely for the sake of Halo that they would work out the issues. But here we are, over a year later, and none of the problems have been solved. Don't waste your money folks. Buy a PS4. I did, and I am a much happier gamer now.

I been gaming with xbox for 6 years online. I remember when I first bought the one last year on launch day I was so excited. But I was not to impressed. It came with a kinect that I did not care for. And it was $500 at the time. It is not even worth the $449 price tag it's at now. That's my opinion. I made a switch to PS4 so far I have not looked back. But other that that, the only thing I'm leaving behind with xbox is my battlefield squad.

Growing up i never liked the xbox, i had nintendos and playstations my whole entire life. Then i played my cousins 360 and fell in love and havnt gone back. Xbox your better than playstation and probably always will be although..... The one really seemed rushed to me, it felt like since the playstation had a release date so microsoft didnt want to lose sales. So they rushed it. My only problems with the console are little things, snapping apps, the ui looks like a windows phone, doesnt have its own identity and maybe 1 or 2 others. Amazing system otherwise, has great games, incredible graphics and gameplay. I suggest getting dr3 and horizon 2 to start out. Diablo, minecraft ryse also fantastic games.
