Review 1 for Skylanders SWAP Force - Tower of Time Adventure Pack
Did you buy this product for yourself or someone else? For someone else
Pop Thorn is the included Skylander, he has two forms, He shoot spikes in regular mode and he shoots air in his other form. The Tower was great and lasted about 3-4 hours of gameplay. The hammer can be useful, but it needs a longer time limit I think. The Sky Diamond is a great way to level up any character, it turns any coin into a Diamond worth 20 Gold coins. Overall, I recommend it to anyone.

not sure about your reasons but yes
Getting every figure is expensive that said for $99.99 you can get 5 dark edition and the lightcore one that is 6 figures I have heard it only requires 10 to beat the game that leaves 4 to buy. Maybe $150 to $200 not anywhere near $1000.

Franchise Fatique. Many Reposed For No Reason.
Skylanders is a franchise that people of all ages can enjoy. Yes its kind of expensive and its made more for kids. But the fairly simplistic gameplay, collecting, and story are beyond ages. However the series has became more and more about making money, and far less about the customer having an enjoyable experience. I own multiple versions of both of the first games and i also own the Apple port. I own every figure released so far and a ton of variants. My wife kept trying to convince me to preorder Swap Force but i refused and she finally came around to agree with me when she saw the gnarly tree rex figures at Gamestop one day. She had did a bunch of research when that figure was for the wii bundle and bought the bundle for $100 or so on sale rather than pay someone just as much for the figure alone. Same things have been going on for a while now. Continuously figures have been reposed with the expectation for fans to buy even though we already have that figure. Why release a series 1, series 2, lightcore, legendary, and solid color of a single figure when there is no real difference. Don't get me wrong its great for collectors. But when several so called variants don't even look different in the game or add to the in-game collection count, it just cheapens it. The ability to jump should have been included in the first game on consoles, just as it was on handhelds, not being a huge selling point now. The series is going money mad and with each passing month forgetting about the players. If you are seriously set on trying skylanders, then pick up the first game and a few figures on sale. If you are set on picking up this Swap Force then get ready to spend more than $1000 on figures including the darks, reposed from first few games, legendaries, regular ones for new game, swapping ones from the new game, variants, etc. Maybe after people see what Skylanders is all about then they will take a break from it and let it be made better before picking up the next one.
