The headset worked great out of the box. Plug it in update your controller and your ready to go. The problems happened 32 days into use, the main cord broke, the one that goes from the remote to the headset. One earphone is either fuzzy or stops working altogether. I have replaced this under GameStop 30 day accessories warranty once and I am going to have to replace it again. Both different pairs of headsets and cords broke after exactly 32 days(kinda weird). Came with a phone connector cord that still works. Basically main cord is to low quality but chat and sound are still good.

I have owned this head set for 4 months now and I have to say 5 stars all the way. I have always loved Polk equipment. I used to run there car audio in the 90's. The Truth from my perspective, there is a lot of over priced garbage on the market and Pro gamers flashing logos from who ever is sponsoring them in the latest tournament. Just like in anything there seems to be a lot of white noise and hype out there on what the best is. Lance Armstrong rode a Trek so the best bike had to be a Trek right? Beats headphones are the best because so many celebrities endorse them.... If this is you then keep throwing money away. If you want an awesome head set that wont let you down then this is the one. If you are not familiar with Polk get that way. Polk Audio has a long history in the audio world.

Very versitile headset

I love this headset! I bought it with the boom mic attachment. Im coming from a turtle beach XP400 for xbox 360. This headset is wireless in the way that it does not need to be plugged into the console, but it DOES need to be plugged into your controller to use it. It is very versatile and it is more than I thought I wanted! This headset can be plugged into your computer and you can use it as a computer headset mic and all. This can be plugged into an ipod to listen to music as just headphones. You can plug it into your iphone and use it to talk. Its seriously awesome. As for the specs, the sound quality is great for everything Ive used it with. Ive never had any problems with it. I LOVE that you don't need to charge it. I hated having to wait for my old headset to charge. Ive never tried to use the in headset mic since I heard that it was terrible, but also because I like the boom mic better anyway. Everyone can hear my voice loud and clear. It may even pick up too much noise, if anyone is talking next to me it pics that up too (which is not uncommon for headsets). There is a button to mute yourself so its very easy to silence yourself. There are also buttons to adjust chat and game volume independently. It is very hardy. I feel safe leaving it around and bringing it outside as headphones. Its built well and is well thought out. It is very comfortable and very adjustable. It fits my head (which is small) and my boyfriends head and is comfortable for both of us! I really couldn't ask for more in a headset, this is the best one that I have tried. The only cons I can think of are nitpicky. Its not fully wireless, it does not have bluetooth so you cant stream music or phone calls to it, you cant go really loud (like blow your eardrums loud), it doesn't have any blast limiter to muffle gunshots and explosions, you also cant adjust any specific sound settings like tone or your stereo settings. But if I'm looking at an overall quality with the price it is amazing!

THESE ARE A GREAT BANG FOR YOUR BUCK AND I KNOW THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST HEAD PHONES IVE EVER HAD SO YES I LOVE THEM
