So after seeing all of these negative reviews I just had to speak up. I got my charging base the day after my console and haven't had a single issue with it. I have a Day One copy of the Xbox One and my charging base and batteries still work after a year with no problems.

Charges ok, poor design

Pros: The price isn't bad and it charges the batteries well.
Cons: The design does not allow for accessories, such as headset adapters, to be plugged into the controller while it is charging. Would also be nice if there were a way to charge a battery without it being inserted into a controller.
Would have purchased the Energizer charger.

Poor quality/doesn't last long before breaking

So I have had my charger for less than three months, I play occasionally however the charger dock on the front no longer works or lights up. Its out of the 30 day warranty so I'm basically on the hook for finding a better replacement charger. I had previously owned the two controller dock/recharge pack for my xbox 360 and that one worked great. However this new one for the xbox one didn't last long, didn't work well and on top of that the rechargeable battery pack design is poor and I would attribute it to it not lasting long. Overall I would give this 3 out of 10 and would recommend that you look into buying other options before this one!

To charge your controller, you have to take you accessories off your controller including the battery cover or an audio adapter for a headset in order to charge the controller. It takes hours in order for it to a fully charge. I would not recommend it.
