The promotion ended in February. I bought this product on March 1st (why it's still listed, I do not know) so now I have 5 dollars on my Microsoft account that I can't use.

i bought this download thinking i would get minecraft xbox one edition for 5 dollars if i had it for the 360, instead it gave me 5 dollars to use in the xbox store, and no game

Many people in the reviews are upset over this upgrade not working for them. I can tell you, however, that if you are using the profile you bought it ORIGINALLY from on the 360, this WILL work and you can receive the game for only $5.00. Just make sure you have least played and updated Mine-craft somewhere between September, 2014 to now with that account you bought it with! This worked perfectly fine for me and it should for everyone else to. It could also take up to 72 hours for the whole process to complete(it was instant for me) so don't worry about buying this. It's definitely worth it! It's actually $5.00 dollars so have fun everyone!

Just a warning, this still isn't enough for the game. Microsoft will charge you tax. Don't end up in a situation like I did.
