It works sometimes :/

DO NOT get this if you plan on using it for emulators. I was using the controller to play Melee and the controls would randomly switch up, giving me a very unpleasant experience. The "b" button would become attack, the "a"button would become jump and the "y" button would become special attack. Oh god it was terrible. It starts off fine but after 5 or so minutes everything becomes scrambled. Maybe its messing up because of the emulator coding.
UPDATE: I tried using it on Super Smash Bros Wii U and it STILL kept messing up. The emulator was not causing the problem. Its just a faulty controller. Please DO NOT waste your money on it. Sure it looks cool but it may give you a frustrating experience.

Nearly Perfect
PostedJanuary 1, 2015
Honestly, reading some of the reviews on here, I was expecting this to fall apart as soon as I took it out of the box. Imagine my surprise when I opened it up to find a nearly-perfect imitation of a GameCube controller! Seriously, if you can't get an adapter, or just prefer the wireless experience, this is going to be PERFECT for you. Does it have exactly the same feel as a nintendo-made controller? Obviously not. Does it feel a little cheaper? Sure. But does it get the job done? Heck yeah. It's solid, the buttons are firmly seated and responsive, and it gives you EVERYTHING that you'll get from a traditional GC controller. I just have one caveat: For some absurd reason, the L/R and Z buttons are switched: The big buttons on the side that everyone is going to instinctively press for shielding, dodging, and rolling are, by default, the Z buttons...meaning that you'll be sitting there doing your grab animating like an idiot, wondering why you aren't dodging. This is easily fixed by creating a profile and changing the buttons, but it's definitely a little annoying. That said, if you're looking at this because you NEED a GC controller, this is going to give you everything you need.

Not at all like a Game Cube controller.

It may look like a Game Cube controller, but it feels nothing like one. Honestly, it feels cheap--like a knock-off brand. The buttons don't feel natural clicking down, especially the ZL/ZR and A buttons. Would rather play with a Pro Controller, even with Super Smash.
