Need help for PS4 setup

I bought this headset to use for the PS4 but for some reason I can't hear myself through the headset when I speak into the mic. I made sure to have "All Audio" checked in the settings and checked the mic volume as well. It is only when I check the mic volume that I can hear myself through the headset but once I leave the setting or play a game, I can no longer hear myself. Any help would be appreciated please! This is a great headset and would hate to return it for such a simple issue.

My old headset had that voice monitoring but when I found that this one didn't, I was very annoyed. I'm returning mine especially since I found it was missing other features that most other headsets came standard with for cheaper. I'm PC fyi so it had nothing to do with your PS4, I can't even adjust my mic volume so your PS4 is the thing allowing you to hear yourself at all.

This headset along with the headset that comes with the PS4 does not do mic monitoring. You will not be able to hear yourself through the mic. Some headsets do mic monitoring, but this one does not.

Yea I also read those reviews. I figured it had to do with the PS4, thanks for your help. What should I do now, keep it and wait till they update the support for more headsets or return it and try to find one that has that feature?

I believe it is the limitation of the PS4 controller because if you use the headphones the PS4 comes with, it also does not allow you to hear your own voice unless you are adjusting the microphone volume. I read a few reviews on Sony Gold headsets with the sidetone function (hearing your own voice), however it doesn't work properly. I think PS4 needs to do an update to support various headsets. I hope this helps!

I can finally play my FPS games with this headset. I love the quality of the material and it fits over my head very comfortably. Compared to any other headset I bought in the past, these are by far the best you can get for it's price.

Crisp clear sound and mic quality

I use headsets for all my games and when it comes to games requiring quality sound, this mic hits it better than other headsets. It also cuts out background noises (like my noisy fan) and my friends can hear me over clearly on Skype, Raidcall, and other messaging programs. Overall great headset!

I have been gaming on PC and consoles for 20 years and the most important thing for me on a headset is comfort and sound quality. Whether I am playing Call of Duty or League of Legend for hours on end I find myself with a headache from headsets that clamp my head too hard. These Cloud headsets feel amazing as if I am not wearing a headset at all. So I mainly use them for PC (LOL, Titanfall, Wildstar), but they have this adapter that allows me to plug it in my PS4 controller as well. You get a traveling bag along with extension cables, airplane, adapter, and etc. I guess you can use these for Xbox One if you buy a Xbox One stereo adapter, probably just pick up one at Gamestop. Overall, I really enjoy these headsets. I have used headsets from Turtle Beach, Razer, and Steel Series, but for the overall package these are amazing!
I typically play Diablo 3 ROS, Destiny, and GTA V on PS4 and it sounds amazing because you can hear all the details that I couldn't hear before. I like that it plugs into the controller so it is wireless to the PS4. I never liked a long cords from the headset to the PS4 since my couch is quite far away. So I am glad PS4 made that accessible. I don't have a PS3 so I am not sure if it works.

I bought these for the PS4 and you can't hear yourself through the headset when you speak into the mic. I adjusted all the settings several times and I can't get it to where I can hear myself through the headset, so annoying.
