i bought the first resistance and just beat it for the second time and i tell you is just gets greater every time i play the game. i rented resistance 2 hoping it would be the same or even beter and i tell you what it was. there are new and stronger enemys you will face. it is crazy how good this game is.weapons such as a battle rifle which is really nice. the graphic are better than the first game and nathan hale looks great. the campaign was a little weak i thought but was still fun in the end especally the ending of the game. i wont tell you you'll just have to buy the game to figure that one out but i will tell you it is awsome. the secondary weapons are great. and better than the first. the online play is insane with 60 it is crazy when you see that many people in one server. the co-op is great too playing with 8 people with 3 different classes to choose from and the battles are always different. this is a must own game for your ps3 or buy a ps3 if you want the one of the greatest fps games ever.

I just recieved this game and let me say, it is worth the money. The game is very intense, loads and loads of action. Normal game play is very challenging. There is more than just fighting Chimera. It's fighting bosses, unstoppable creatures, and hidden creatures. And the ending is probably the best part of the game. Your in for a real treat once you beat the game. And once you beat the game there is unlockables from the pause menu to use as you play campaign over and over. Online is just as good. All the regular online matches plus newer ones. The fact that you can play with a total of 60 players is outstanding! Insomniac really out did themselves with this game. Play with two people on the same system(Online)! Awesome, right? There's more to be added but you'll find it all out once you play it.

One of the best things that I found about this game is that it picks up at the exact point that the original left off. You are pretty much put right back into Resistance: Fall of Man only in a different country. Another thing is the amazing futuristic weaponry in the game. You have the capability to shoot a sniper that slows time, a gun that shoots through cover, or a gun that shoots razor blades. This games difficulty levels range from casual to super-human for the beginner and expert gamers and casual doesn't in any way fall short to super-human when it comes to fast paced shooter action. If you are worried that this game will be to challenging dont be its perfect but you can change the difficulty. The story is excellent and it makes you want to play. The online is great in competitive mode with 60 player skirmishes and death matches and team death matches. The Co-Op is hard to get used to but amazing when you learn the ropes. Also it's its own campaign so you wont get bored. Don't get me wrong there are a few graphical mistakes. The fire that happens after you set something on fire with a gun looks worse than Nintendo 64 fire. And some water streams and things like that are 2 dimensional. This is nothing to worry about. Overall this game is a must have for PS3 owners.

Well, I got Resistance 2 the other day and I was disappointed when the Graphics did not get better, in fact it still stayed at 720p, it would have been nice if they upgraded it to at least 1080i. The campaign is good but what really got me going was the online play! The Co-Op blew me away, and the Competitive is about the same as Resistance: Fall of Man except with 60 player Skirmishes. The Co-Op online and offline is nice, there is 3 classes to choose from: Solider, Medic, and Spec Ops. Each class is upgradable so that you can get secondary weapons and berserks as well as character appearance changes. The Trophy's are nice but not a lot of them. It is recommended that you have a headset or you'll get frustrated. Anyway I would recommend this game to anyone that loves War games, Shooters, and online Multiplayer.
