Great game with incredible multiplayer!

In Resistance 2 you play as Nathan Hale. This time out Hale is part of a special task force of soldiers called "The Sentinels", who, like him, are resistant to the Chimeran virus. The enemy AI is pretty good and they will make you take cover, they are a very fun enemy to play against but sometimes I felt that all of my team mates were invisible and I was the only one getting shot at but that doesn't really take away from the experience. The graphical aspect of the game is pretty neat the environments are beautiful especially when you walk out and see San Francisco overrun by Chimeran space ships and the city in flames but I wish the character models were just as good as the environments but hey we can't all be perfect. The storyline is just as good as the first except it kinda lost the feeling of WWII. The multiplayer is incredible with 60 players in one game and no lag is an amazing achievement its very addicting and it also has a co-op story and that's fun as hell. Good job insomniac you have my 60 dollars. 8/10

I just beat this game and i must say i honestly wasn't too crazy about the first resistance. ; but the ALL of the bad points of resistance 1 are gone! and this is a GREAT game!!! great story! great enemies! great fun! im very glad i have it!! If you didn't really like the fisrt one at least give this one a chance becauce this one is SOOOO much better! resistance 2 is easily 10x better than the first one! The bosses and enemies are soo freakin cool!!! GET IT!!! its AWESOME!!! GAMEPLAY; on most gamesi feel like the game plays itself, however, i actually felt that i was there and in all the crazy,mind blowing action!, thats not a common feeling... its a very challenging game if played on hard but definately not impossible like many games you dont take morre damage or anything stupid like that. the enemies don't seem any harder to kill 9 it deosn't take hundreds of rounds to kill. but they have managed to trick, and flank me. ONLINE; online is fvery fun! its nothing like the first game! ( which was revolting) i only wish you could have just you and one friend play co-op instead of 8 players..... thats the only point i can find to comlpain about. ALLAROUND; Resistance 2 is a very game with no glitches a challenging a.i ( if the difficulty is high) On hard the game presents a challenge but is not too hard. which is good because that just irritates people. haha I would recomend this game to anyone loking for a FANTASTIC fists person shooter that is looking for a long, intresting and compelling storyline that you cant just beat in a few hours. but if your still reading about it now you're oviously considering it. So just get it! YOU'LL love it! STORYLINE; im pretty A.D.D and its hard to follow most games but i never had a problem with paying attention on this game it grabs you and pulls you in! FUN; this game.... aahhh resistance two.. i have had such a great experience with this game. I opened it on christmas morning and played it until around 3 a.m. and i cant just sit down and play any ole game for more than maybe...... an hour or so, then loose intrest. and put in another.

Best playstation game ever made

This was without a doubt the best playstation game ever made. the story is great the weapons are even better the chimera are even more challenging (especially the chameleons) and online is incredible. I love playing with more people and this game is perfect for that. Honestly though i wasnt too thrilled with the competitive mode it wasnt bad i just didnt think that it was that good but anyway my personal favorite gun is that little pistol thats red i forgot the name but its like a bomb detonator and a pistol thing but that thing was hot. I love the marksmon because im more of a sniper guy then like a soldier so im spec ops alot and i thought that the cooperative online was perfect for snipers in far far range combat. I havent beat the game yet on superhuman but ive beat it on all the other difficulties. The story was great and the trophies are good there not going too over board with like a million trophies but overall i thought that playstation did its thing making resistance 2.

Resistance 2 is a very well made blockbuster title, if you want a game that truly would be enjoyed I would say to go with this title. It kind of got rid of the Gears of War look like in the first one and made the graphics more lush then the originally gritty look it had in the first game. The only thing I can't stand in this title is the fact that they got rid of the co-op campaign. The graphics and game play most definitely have been improved. In the first game the enemies if shot in the head would still come at you even more mad, in this game they fix it to where their dead and no surprise. The graphics were definitely overhauled that gritty Gears of War look is gone which needed to be replaced with more of a lush look with more bright colors then gritty colors. I would say a definite buy.
