The story in this game is absolutely amazing! The soundtrack and music quality is even better. Square Enix is by far the best video game company when it comes to plots and soundtrack!

This is the final turn-based Final Fantasy game. And I love it for that. There is even a magical item you can acquire that will turn off random encounters so you can explore freely. It also has great graphics and story and likeable characters.. Even if the main character "Tidus" is basically the typical whiny teenage boy archetype that is used in so many JRPGs, he is ultimately sympathetic, The only thing I really didn't like about this game was the blitzball game. It's so ridiculously stupid, and the controls are awful. Luckily you are only obligated to play it once and then you can choose to ignore it.

Best FF Ever

Well this was one of my very first games I got for my Ps2. I gotta say I got bored of it, and stopped playing it. After a month or two I decided to play it again. And boy was I in for an adventure. The story was amazing, the music outstanding beyond words, and the characters were pretty easy to like. It's 2012 and I got this game back when it first came out, and I still love replaying it over, and over. But unfortunately my Ps2 broke down, and Ps3 doesn't play Ps2 games. But I can't wait for the HD remake coming soon later this year.
