Did you buy this product for yourself or someone else? For me
The Xbox memory unit is actually a really well designed memory card-type thing that plugs into you controller in a little slot. It is small, handy, and easy to carry around, but do you need it? The answer is no, since the original Xbox has a built-in hard-drive with all the space you'll ever need. IT'S HUGE! So, unless you really want to carry your saved games around, the is really unessecary. Some other Xbox accesories you might be interested in: the Xbox DVD Playback Kit, Xbox Travel Case, and the Xbox Music Mixer.

As the above comment states, this is a totally unnessecary (Slaughtered that spelling) addition to your Xbox. Only if you go to a friends house.
