Works Great!

Plug n go on any standard definition TV. I was trying to use a HDMI cable on my standard def tvs and it wasn't working... I plugged in a DVD player to be sure the TVs were all good so I knew it was the plug. I bought this *standard definition* cable for my 360. Only needed it for this one system currently...and it worked like a charm. Perfect! I wish the HDMI cables would work on any tv but thats not the case.

Non-functional S-Video cable
PostedDecember 10, 2010
All the other wires work except for the S-Video cable, it will change from a colored display to a black in white display due to terrible wiring, stay away from this product and buy the Microsoft brand S-Video cable.

Does What It Needs To
PostedNovember 26, 2010
At first I was not really sure in wanting this because of the bad reviews and MadCatz reputation but I mean this is the only one you can find in store. The only other way to get an S-Video cable is online which I will get to.
This did what it needed to. On my old CRT TV I could not read the tiny text that most games today have but this managed to clear that up enough so it was easier to make out. Dunno how well of a job it did compared to what another S-Video cable might do but it is good enough. It gives off a flicker on that tiny text and dunno if that is normal.
I was worried at first when it was in black and white or no sound but that just means you have to really be sure it is connected to the back of your TV, really push it in there but be careful as well. As I think other reviewers have said it is rather loose and it is. Any small movement form the back of my PS3 and it comes right out. I have to push it back in but I should probably stop doing that for fear of it ruining the input of my PS3.
It is best to just order one online which you can find for about the same price for better quality, just lack of universal. There are sites out there such as Monoprice which has one for $4.60 (for PS2/3) and I know most of you think it must be cheap material but Monoprice is rather reliable in their products and you can always return it if not happy with it.
I was mostly referring to my experience with PS3 here. As for Xbox 360 I am not sure about.

This Product is Garbage
PostedNovember 21, 2010
These cables are garbage. They worked fine for about two weeks. After those two weeks, they started randomly cutting out, making gaming impossible. I had to constantly wrestle with them until they started working correctly. Eventually I had to wrestle with them so much they broke. Don't buy these. Spend the extra money on the real things, not this garbage.
