This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This was enjoyable for me. I really liked the story and gameplay of it. I mean, Tails and Eggman kind of stunk to control, but other than that it was really good. Worth playing until the end. The bosses rule, the character's rule, and the Multiplayer rules.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
The game has an epic story,million times better than Sonic Adventure.And way more adventure than all the other games,probably next to Unleashed.This game also introduces my favorate character out of all video games,SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG,probably thats why I like this game more than SA1.This game runs on a smooth engine which I got pretty impresed,way better than Sonic 06. Now the ONLY thing I didn't like about the game was Knuckle's Stages,they were too complicated,but besides that,this game can kick the but out of every other game that stands on its way!

This is an amazing game. Gamestop recently stopped accepting Gamecube games, so when they are gone, they will never be back. My copy was kind of scratched, so I want a new one, but 2 stores that had it in stock didn't have it in stock a week later. It wasn't even available online anymore! If it only took this fast for all that to happen, you have to get a copy of this game while it's still in stock.

Incase you did not have a dreamcast and or missed SA 2 this is your chance. I let graphics slide since it is almost a direct port from a dreamcast game.The music is good, the levals are amazing,and now you can battle a freind. The chao garden is also a very fun game that is in SA 2battle along with a kart game. The kart game has 3 levels but since it is not the main game I let this slide.

This game is really good. By the way, GameCube/gameboy cables DO work with the Wii. My favorite part is actually the music in the main menu and in the final boss battle. Well, the chao are actually another fav.

This Sonic game has features of no other. With the Gamecube's controller layout, you are able to control Sonic in a way like never before. This and a few other Sonic games have an extra part of the game added on. This new part is called the chao garden. Usually, in most Sonic games, your rings don't really do anything in the game, but in this one, you could spend your rings on your chao. You could buy chao eggs, fruit, and items. You can also trade things in for rings. You can raise chao and put them in competitions at these gardens. They win or lose depending on their skills. If you win, they could get a prize. There are three ways to get your chao's skill up. Once you destroy a robot, a chaos drive will come out of it, and you could give these to your chao to increase its skills. You could give them animals found in stages. You could also give them fruit. The stages are extremely fun and cool. It's also cool that there are 3 story modes including different characters. These include hero, dark, and last.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
In Sonic Adventure 2, you must help Sonic and his friends defeat DR Eggman and stop his evil quest, or choose to aid our villain. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles compose the team of heroes (you play as them at different points in the same story line). Shadow, DR Eggman, and Rouge are the dark team (they share the dark storyline). Sonic and Shadow's stages consist of them running through series of courses, like what you would normally expect from a 3d Sonic game these days. Tails and DR Eggman are inside their fighters, and must gun out of the course (while in the vehicles). Knuckles and Rouge are pitted into a field where they must find 3 shards of the master emerald, which are very difficult to find. There are plenty of rival challenges, pitting characters of the same category into competition. This game also has many bosses, but they are tricky and at times, annoying. The game doesn't have many great tracks, but the voice acting is one notch towards perfect. The chao garden returns, and the chaos are easier to raise, but can still take much time. In Battle (this port), there is a racing mode (not fun), 2 on 2, and a few other things. Here is a warning: this game is VERY HARD. I advise that you have youtube on a tab in your browser, and that it is up and running, as I needed several walkthroughs. If you played Adventure 1, that was way too easy (took me 3 weeks through each story). This absolutely totaled me in 5 months. If you want to know what the story is, look at the Sonic X adaptation (that is extremely violent, upsetting, and startling). If you are up for an extreme challenge (or a huge sonic fan), go at it.
(PS: this is much harder than adventure 1)

I have been playing this game since it first came to the gc^^ I would have to agree with you on how awesome the game is, but I would have to disagree with you on how hard the game is to beat. I beat the whole game, chao garden, story line, and extras in a matter of just 3 weeks, that is with having to go to school every week day (besides holidays and breaks)
