I was on here reading some of the reviews and I noticed it wasn't getting very good ones. I went and bought the game yesterday and played for about 5 hours in 24 hrs. and I'm more than 50% of the way. So it's a short one. Nothing like the PS1 game Spyros though. So if your thinking it will be like them...well it isn't. But it isn't a bad game. I have ran across some glitches and none of them affected the game. The only annoying one that I had was that I could hear a Dragonfly buzzing no matter where I went or what worlds I was in. Simple restart fixed that. Other than that nothing threatening. I would recommend the game. Just beware of the long load times even though it would give you time to stretch. A fun game to play and it took me back to the day where I played all the older ones.

First of all i kind of agree with some of the other people it always too forever to load and whenever I played I would not play it again for maybe a year or two. Persanolly im a spyro fan and I loved the ps1 game i have and "a new beggining" but this game kind of made me lose my intrest of Spyro games so I would recomend never buy this game, touch it, or even look at it.

I've played spyro since the first one,and I have to say it was a true disappointment to play this. The story line wasn't good,the graphics were okay but it felt I played for short time and for the graphics to load took forever.There wasn't much of a challenge in it either,it was mighty simple.I couldn't play it for long because the loading took forever and also my brother,much younger than me easily played the game,he was disappointed as well,though he's only been playing spyro for about 4 years,he found it not amusing.They tried to hard,and failed miserably.I would definitely recommend people to keep playing spyro because the old ones were amazing, and also if they play this and don't enjoy it, they should still try A Heros Tail and Legend Of Spyro:A New Beginning,because both are still fun.

I'll give this game credit. I think it's a game thats just as good as the other spyro games are, it's certainly head over tails above the legend of spyro series to me! I thought that this game was cool when I first bought it and I still think its cool even now! I like this game because its just like the originals for the playstation one. Just a good clean fun Spyro the Dragon game, is that too much to ask for. Let me compare this to the legend of spyro series for a second, For one thing they are just too long! And maybe some of us don't want spyro to change or lose all the good characters like hunter and Sgt. Byrd, and the professor, and other characters. All I'm saying is just give this game a try, if you like spyro, you'll like this game. Sure the glitches and stuff may be annoying at times but I would still give it a try, and if you feel that you don't like it after you've played it well long enough then just simply try something else, but please don't bash this game like some people do!
