This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
This game is a fun game, not turn based game, but still had nice graphics, as well as the story. Storyline is a huge factor to the game's success, and very interesting as well. Characters are easy to adapt to, and the level design is impeccable and always seems fresh to play. The main quest is at least 35 hours long and up to 45 for perfectionists. It is certain that you will pick it up at least one more time to relive the glory of the game.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This was one of my first games for the PS2. My dad mostly played the games on the system like Madden, but I was never into that repetitive game play. I had seen Kingdom Hearts in a video game magazine that I had and, at the time, I had Gamefly. So I had ordered the game, and I couldn't put the controller down. The characters in the Kingdom Hearts each had their very unique personality. The music was the first part of the game that really caught me offguard. The music when the game starts was amazing and I knew at that point that this was going to be a unique game. The controls of KH were simple but eventful to keep the player involved. I think that the KH2 controls were far better than this game but for a game that was released in 2001, no other game could compare with this one.

This is by FAR my fav franchise with the best soundtrack ever to be listend to in video game history!!!! the plot/storyline really help all the combat. ive been looking for a game that have a very deep storyline. now that ive found it, I CANT STOP PLAYING!!!! Ok please thumb this up just for the amount of time that i took to give you awesome people this extremely in-depth review! First off story line (NO SPOILERS) Ok your a Kid Named Sora that have a special island that your best friends Kairi and Riku (and other that arent as important) that get transpoted to other worlds with two people you meet (that i will not mention so NO SPOILERS) and have a difficult but fun and humourus journey to find your two friends. Second Gameplay,Although it has a lot of Final Fantasy Charecters and References the fighting system are entirely different which means no turn based to point deduction with every hit and just normal life but there is a command menu (See Picture below) Third Graphics They are exeptional for a 2002 game just look at MAFIA one then look at KH one (see the difference if you bothered) Fourth Sound the cut scene sound the gameplay sound is great EXCEPT FOR THE ANOYING SOUND SORA MAKES -EVERY- TIME YOU ATTACK!!!!!! but you put that aside and wonderful to the ear ^|_|^ Fith LASTING APPEAL this game has so many side missions and hidden bosses it will last you as long as you pretty much want!!!! ok i will finish this off with a few more Pros and Cons: Pros: Isn't to hard so almost anyone can beat it. And Bosses are always a little bit of a challenge so you can inst-beat it or anything like that! Cons: When/if you die during a boss battle you have to watch the cut scene AGAIN no skip scene like in KH@ and so on. Wellthe all the stuffedbear has to say today oh and remember the thumbs up PLEASE!!!!!

This game has honestly touched my heart. I remember buying this game when I was a little kid and playing it for the first time. It was confusing in the beginning but I eventually got the hang of it. Now when I look back, I remember all the times I spent playing it, all the hard bosses and amazing encounters with the Disney characters. Most of these characters got to my heart after playing this. I hope whoever hasn't played this game gets the chance to and hopefully gets touched like I did.

Quite simply one of the greatest games of all time. From start to finish the story will pull you in and you'll be hooked. Great vocal cast such as, Haley Joel Osment, and Hayden Panettiere. You must buy this game if you've never experienced Kingdom Hearts before.
