One of the Greats
PostedJanuary 25, 2011
this game came out right after Resident Evils re-release on the Nintendo Gamecube and takes place right before the events in Resident Evil, in fact that's why Jill and Chris (the main characters of re, members of S.T.A.R.S. alpha team) are deployed to the forest of Raccoon city, so the story does make sense. the story takes place in the training facility of the Umbrella Corporation in the Arklay Mountains which also happens to be right near the mansion the re takes place in. this game is on the same level as re its all about puzzles ammo conservation and survival, as you play you really play for your life, and with the cool new feature of a computer based "co-op" you have someone to back you up as well as carry ammo for you, but most importantly many times you two will be split up but the actions of one may effect the other somewhere else.
if you love re then you will love this game, its like the newly made re of gamecube just different characters and a new terrifying story, perfect for any zombie killing, survival loving fanatic

This game works with the others. It really does! The graphics are flawless! This is an extremely scary game and you CAN say that this CAN be compared with Resident Evil 1 or even Resident Evil Code: Veronica for the PS2. It's up there, I must say! There is a challenge to this game and it does give you the 'I can die at any second' feeling. So, pretty much, you're stuck in a train at the begininng of the game because you have found a body eaten by 'a creature' near a train, so you and your crew split up. You go in the train and find a man maybe, the same age as you and it takes a while for him to help you out because, you keep on tellong him "I could handle myself." Well, he decides to save you from a huge monster You should be relieved now that you didn't have to fight a monster that BIG this early! If you liked other Resident Evil games you will like this one. If you think the story doesn't make sense...Well I don't know what to tell ya!

Dosn't Work
PostedJanuary 13, 2009
So I remember way back years and years ago, I saw this blockbuster commercial. It showed someone running down a hall and this giant spider crawling on the ceiling, it looked freaking awesome. I have been a fan of the RE series since the real beginning. The story of this is just crap. Do you remember why the stars team went to the forest/mansion? They went to rescue the bravo team. Well in zero you are the bravo team. Don’t you remember in the original RE playing as Jill at the very beginning you run into berry, or as Chris you run into Rebecca. Zero wasn’t that long before the original. What about the virus, didn’t it start as the unstable g-virus later redeveloped into the t-virus. Well another mistake this is about the t-virus and some parasite/slug things, and one thing that makes me the most upset is the mansion. Why is it all different, it is the same mansion right? It’s all dilapidated, later in the games you learn the mansion was a cover for the labs underground... this story doesn’t begin the RE saga. It ruins it, if this is how it began every other game in the series is a lie. Pity I have been waiting to play this game for years. If you like storyline to make sense and have been a fan of the RE games... Stay away, far away from this one.

I completely disagree. This game is awesome.

A. The T-Virus didn't start out as the G-Virus, they are two completely different viruses.
B. NO. It is NOT the same mansion as in Resident Evil 1, it is the Umbrella Management Training Facility.
You call yourself a fan and yet you didn't play the game long enough to realize this?
