12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards Winner: Fighting Game of the YearDuke it out with your favorite Nintendo characters in Super Smash Bros. for the Wii. Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Series makes a special appearance in this title for the Wii game system. The new Smash Bros. will include a number of new playable characters such as Meta Knight from the Kirby games, Pit from Kid Icarus, Zero Suit Samus (i.e. Samus without her armour) from Metroid: Zero Mission, Wario and, most unexpectedly, Solid Snake from Metal Gear and Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega's loveable blue blur! The Nintendogs also make an appearance, although only as an item for obscuring the screen, and each character now seems to have some gigantic new special attacks that take up the whole screen. Not only will the game have an online mode but it is the only major Nintendo title to use the "shell" controller by default rather than the Wii remote.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl takes the series to a whole new level, bringing amazing new characters like Sonic, Toon Link and Pit. The levels are GORGEOUS and the option to use 4 different controllers makes it a game perfect for everyone. If you haven't bought this game, you should do it NOW!.

Nintendo has made a few mistakes in Brawl. They ruined Wolf' and Falco by making them clones of Fox.They made Waluigi an assist trophy instead of a playable guy. They wasted a perfectly good character by adding Toon Link. But worst of all...They completely forgot about Tails,Krystal,and Mewtwo!!!! However, Super Smash Bros Brawl is a great game for nintendo fans and I love it!!

Super Smash Bros Brawl is a great game. there, i said it. there are many great things to say, but there are about as many bad things to say too. the character list good, the stages are nice (for the most part), the music ok at worst, and AWESOME at best, you can "battle" online, and i should not forget, you can create battle stages. that's pretty much where the good ends, and the bad begins. Sonic should not be in this game. he's Sega's character, and the Super Smash Bros series is Nintendo.(then again,Snake games aren't licensed by Nintendo and, i don't mind him so much) it takes a while to find a room, and it takes EVEN LONGER to find a room with people who don't want to just screw around. you can't play custom stages online. and there are some gliches(but some people might like that).but with all THAT a side, you should get this game. it's fun to play over and over...AND OVER! (lol)

This game is the best! Not only the gameplay is fun but also being the characters are awsome! Theres more than 30 characters in this game from other games. They also added some unimportant people such as Luigi, Wolf, and Falco which makes even more fun! My favorite game\characters are Link (Legend of Zelda), Ike (Fire Emblem), Zero Suit Samus (Metroid) and the one and only Mario (Super Mario Bros)! GET THIS GAME!!!

I can't believe it's already been 6 years since the last Smash Brothers installment. I just wish I could be playing it right now, but both my brother's and my Wii broke, but luckily I'm getting a Wii U in March and because that's backwards compatible and my brother still has his copy of the game, I can continue to enjoy this great game. Now of course Melee is the superior game, but this one is a very close second. I can't wait for the newest installment in the series as well. ...Dang, 6 years and holding at half to 3/5 the original price. You know it's a great game with high lasting appeal if it's still that much.

Oh my gosh! This game is absolutely AMAZING! You take all your favorite nintendo and third-party characters, add some awesome stages, amazing music, put them in a blender and hit stir. BAM!!
