believe it or not this was the first game I owned and played for the gamecube this game has great sound a hot pursuit mode where you play with cops on your tail and a challenge mode where you compete in various races to earn points and medals to unlock other rides this game is fun with multiple people and a Be The Cop mode where you chase down speeding racers the only problem with the gameplay that after a while the challenges get repetitive because there are only a few modes Like Delivery which is a sprint from point A to B lap knockout where the player that's finishes last gets knocked out or disqualified and tournaments which players race to get the most points in the 4 races. overall a great racing title and recommended to fans of the series and fans of racing games and to collectors looking for a god expirience
the cops are back in need for speed hot pursuit 2. this is the best racing game ever and my favorite car is on it the lamborghini murciealago. you shoud get it

This game is stupid. In races the oponits can rear end you and caus you to spin out but when you rear end them in the exactly the same way as they did to you, you spin out. Its stupid. because of that I can barly complete any races. they also call elimination races lap knockouts.
