An Excellent Bond Game
PostedSeptember 9, 2010
007 Nightfire is definitely one of the better Bond games. The storyline is great and could easily be a Bond story. The graphics are pretty good too. The multiplayer is also great. It is very customizable. You can play with up to four players and with AI Bots. The AI Bots are good for if you want to play, but don't have anyone to play with. There's also a good selection of characters. There's some classic maps such as Fort Knox from Goldfinger, and Atlantis from The Spy Who Loved Me. The gameplay is also not too diffucult and at the same time not too easy. I highly recommend it.

This Bond was the BOMB!!

i absoulutly love this game. it is definetly one of the best playstation 2 games i have ever played. the only thing that was not to good was the sound. sometimes when you get shot you here this weird sond your player makes. but for a playstation 2 game it is not bad. the challenge is good they give you a choice to choose easy, medium, or hard which is good if you like a bit of a challenge. the graphics are nice for this game it suits it well. the car that bond drives is pretty sweet i love it. it is really fun to drive it has to be one of the best levels. the controls are great they have many control set ups so you can just choose the best one that fits you. You start with the classic bond controls which is the one that i use and i like it. the game also includes secrets to unlock if you know the right codes. i would definitley recommand this game to any one who likes a good shooter.

Nightfire was a game that was worked on for quite some time by gamemakers, and i was hyped up for its release. I am a huge bond fan and i thought the game was okay, but its a disappointment compared to games like agent under fire and everything or nothing. I found this game very difficult. It was actually the hardest bond game i've ever played. I was stuck on certain missions for days. The graphics could have been better i was disappointed in that too. Don't expect a long adventure either as the game only has about 12 missions. The storyline is presented in true bond fashion with a good plot (won't ruin it for you) but the cutscenes are sometimes dull and i sometimes skipped them when i first got this game cause i justed wanted to shoot stuff. The controls are simple and easy, but i was disappointed as there is no sprint button. So bond pretty much just jogs all the time. The presentation is good as the real peirce brossman is in the game although i was disappointed his voice wasn't. It doesn't make much sense because everybody else's real voice is in the game. How could they forget the main character? I felt the sound was a little shaky at times also. Overall this game is fun, but you will get bored after a while. If u like bond, u already have this. If u just like shooters, u can pass on this one.

Review for Gamecube Version
PostedDecember 27, 2008
Note: This review is for the Gamecube Version of the game, but I am writing it here since the Gamecube version is not available. This game is great-almost everything about it is perfect. If you don't like the controls, you can change them to one of the many different control setups. There are a wealth of different weapons. The levels are creative and incorporate the many factors that define James Bond. For a Gamecube game, the graphics are pretty good. The story line is strong enough to make into a movie. The multiplayer mode is also great-there are many different settings, and within those there are different modes, and different weapon sets, and you can even personalize the robots you fight against down to their personality. I would highly recommend this game (whatever system it is on) to any James Bond fan or game lover, even if it is outdated.
