I hate when people say its "no Oblivion", I mean of course its not! It only came out near the begining of the previous console gen... 2002, so the graphics are a bit yesterday, story is better than Oblivion IMO.. You won't regret trying it

Quite possibly the greatest game ever created

This is the game that came before the recent Oblivion. In my opinion its even better than oblivion. Oblivion has better graphics and better combat system but thats about it. You cant beat Morrowinds epic world. full of so many possibilities. You have about 20 factions you can join such as Mage, Theives, Fighters guilds. A few religous guilds, some factions of the local governments and even a few vampire clans each with about 10-20 quests that you can take and each one of them takes some time to complete. Some of which will take you hours to complete one quest. and thats not even counting the main story line quests. so there are at least 200 quests to be done. The world is huge. It will take you about a week just to explore the entire island without doing any quests. if you like RPG's this is the grand daddy of them all

This game is amazing overall. As my first game in the Elder Scrolls series, I was awestruck by the beauty of the sights and sounds of this game. To be honest it was my first RPG aswell. Compared to Oblivion, Oblivion doesen't hold a stand of hay against the might this game contains. There are so many quests, ruins, unmapped settlements, and more to explore. There are so many factions and guilds to join it's dizzying. The graphics, even for it's time of release, weren't quiet up to par, but then again if you're a stickler for graphics than this game isn't for you. There are many different weapons and armor that you can combine to make a custom set, you can even enchant these items and make yourself into a magically powered warrior. There's s many spells, and you can even create your own spells to smite your enemies. The main quest may seem tedious but it's end-game fight is challenging and fun. I have to make a WoW reference here... But in the mighty words of Illidain Stormrage; YOU ARE NOT PREPARED... Maybe... Haha.. Anyway, compared to TES4, this game is amazing. Oblivion looks pretty, but this game is true RPG beauty.

Best Game Ever!

Morrowind Elder Scrolls 3 has been a favorite for many years. The game has vast landscapes with untold amounts of hidden treasures and secrets. I have played this game since its release and I would have to say that the gameplay, sound track, and all of the different choices and directions you can take is astounding. Many of the current games are very limited in which you can do in the game. Morrowind allows the player to explore the world right after the player makes a few selections to which he/she wants their character to be. This is far better than the Oblivion game that was relesased for the 360 version. It has more side missions and more guilds. For example: Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, Thieves Guild, Morag Tong (Assassins Guild), Imperial Legion, Temple, Redoran House, Hlaalu House, Telvanni House, there are many hidden side quests like find hidden temples, help mercs, bandits, and there are even 3 Vampire clans you can be apart of. Even then you still have the main mission and the updates you can get through the Game of the Year edition in which you can become a werewolf. Thats not all of the quests! To say the least you will never run out of things to do!
