Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is an excellent platforming/adventure game. It captures the feel of Spongebob's Bikini Bottom and it's characters. It doesn't butcher anything from the show to make the game "better", it's just original and unique. The gameplay and sound is great, along with the lasting appeal. I would pop this game in anytime for a stroll along Goo Lagoon, or walk around The City of Bikini Bottom. The graphics are excellent for the Gamecube. If you want a good game for the gamecube, pick this up.

I'm a 15 year old shooter and rpg player, and I still love to pick up this game every once in a while. It's one of the first ps2 games I ever played, and it's still a favorite of mine! Keep in mind, I rated the graphics, sound, and gameplay based on the time period. The AV stuff has nothing on that of next-gen console games.

Can't stop playing it

I honestly love this game. This was the first spongebob game I ever owned and after years of having it I still enjoy it. The graphics are good for its time and the gameplay is really fun and creative. It's not one of those games where you need to complete a level 100% to move on, you only need a certain amount of golden spatulas. I recommend this to any spongebob fan and any gamer looking to get a kick out of an older system.
