Attention
PostedJune 12, 2011
Over all the game was just an attention get-er, i loved the customization and the strategy required for playing this game like a beast. It was just fun to like run around and shoot teleport etc all around the field and just use different combinations to successfully adapt and defeat your target.

Armored core made easy
PostedFebruary 22, 2011
As my summary suggests Custom Robo is like Armored core in that you create your own robot but instead its really simple you just choose a robot and you choose a gun, a bomb, a pod, and boosters to use in battle. The story is alright it follows a nameless hero (you give him a name ) as he fights an evil syndicate and learns the truth about a monster that almost destroys the planet and has returned and finds out what happened to his father. Its not the most original but it works but the story doesnt stop when you beat the game you get another game that continues the story. The gameplay is pretty good its kinda like a fighting game but instead of punches and kicks you uses bullets and bombs, you customize your robo before battle and you can see who your opponent is and what the battlefield is to determine what parts to use. The variety of each robot and each part is welcome, each robot has unique strengths and weaknesses and the different stages help you incorporate them as such, but some of the guns are useless in battle. The visuals are okay the opening video looks great but the rest of the game doesnt look the same way which is confusing because they couldve used it for the game. The game as as a whole is good it could use some work but its great for those who liked armored core but dont like the over complicated layout.

Great Multiplayer
PostedDecember 1, 2010
this game is a great mix of future robotic technology and super smash bros. type of fighting attacks. As my 2 friends and I played through the multiplayer we were awesomly suprised with new items or characters you could upgrade into. The controls are basic and easy to learn, but it still is somewhat tricky to use them. Throughout the game, as you earn more unlockables, the game increases its difficulty. It does so because the more weapons, such as lazers , and missiles , you unlock, the more powerful you become.Over all, my experience with this game has been great , and I can't wait untill i can play it again with my friends
