I wish they would make a game like this for more up to date systems...I have looked for a long time and found nothing even close to as much fun as this game.

Test Drive: Eve of Destruction is without a doubt my favorite racing game of all time! I recently bought DiRT Showdown, and it sucks compared to this game. There are TONS of game modes to try, including a Battle mode when in Co-op where you shoot exploding chickens at each other. There's Bus Races, Figure 8, Demo Derby, Knock Out, Suicide Races, and even normal races, which never get boring on the great track selection. If I could pick one game to be remade for the current gen systems, it would be this game!
This is one of the most unique and fun racing games I have played. After playing threw the career mode hear are my thoughts:
Pros Very unique racing game(type of races, and vehicles) Great Soundtrack realistic damage
Cons Career mode can get repetitive(especially towards the end(rank 25-1)
Limited specialty races(bus, hearse, ect) in career mode
Limited customization: does make sense why they didn't spend much time on this feature, (since most of the time one would trade in for another car); though would have been nice if there were some premade graphics(letters, numbers, flags, etc) and if you could change the base color of the car.
Over all besides a few minor issues, this is a great game. If you enjoy jumping gaps, wrecking cars, than this game is up you alley .
